Plus, there’s a lot more radiation down there as well.
Amazing video as always! I loved the Titan mech, but like I said before the size was constantly changing. I would chop it up to simple drawing mistakes, but the size differences were too huge. It also made it hard to scale the size of certain creatures it killed. For example the Sker Buffalo it killed look enormous, but at the same time the Mech was way smaller in that same image. That was my only complaint about the comic and I absolutely loved the Mech.

If we lived in a world of giant monsters, there would be some people interested in hunting them for sport, profit, or to capture them to be used as weapons or to fight in giant coliseums like in ancient Rome.

My guess is that budget issues came into play. Even for someone as rich as Raymond, building something that big and powerful completely under the nose of Monarch couldn't have been cheap, and I'm amazed that building the hunter in the first place only cost half-a-billion. Even more money probably went into his private Hollow Earth portal, all his trips into the Hollow Earth, the materials needed for his traps, salaries for his employees, and bribes to keep everything under wraps. The need to keep Titans at a distance and the mech's lack of melee weapons is most likely the reason the Titan Hunter has such long arms in the first place.
I see this as a way to intoduce Jaegers (Which could introduce Jet Jaguar via an AI ran Jaeger) as defenders of coastal cities, not strong enough to challenge Godzilla or Kong alone, but strong enough in numbers to ward off most Titans, and even take some down to defend reactors.

Acting like Godzilla is leagues above Kong even though he won 2/4 fights with him, second time he wasn't even looking for a fight. After a 12 hour battle Godzilla beat an out of shape, inexperienced Kong who was recovering from being sedated, He had to dislocate Kong's arm and did everything in his power to keep him on the ground and not let him escape, at the start of r2 he was getting humiliated by Kong in h2h combat and needed ol'reliable atomic breath to save him. Now with GxK we know that Godzilla would get obliterated if he tried fighting Kong h2h again.

Personally, the reason I think the reason why that Sker Buffalo was bigger than the specimens found on Skull Island because it’s much more radioactive in the Hollow Earth than on Skull Island, along with more resources down there. Sker Buffalo are considered superspecies than Titans. Personally, what makes a Titan a Titan is its consumption of radiation and how its own radioactive output affects the environment around them. It is possible for some members of superspecies to ascend to Titan status such as the Alpha Skullcrawlers like Ramarak/The Big One and Number 10 from GVK. Secondly, the reason why I think that Buffalo was killed by the Titan Hunter was because of its lack of bodily armor. Even though a great majority of the Titans are highly durable, they have their limits. Take Kong for example. Even though he, like all Titans, are durable enough to survive gravitational inversion (an Entire Planet’s worth of gravity reversed in a single second), he’s still vulnerable to other forms of harm, such as stronger Titans and Godzilla’s atomic breath. Even the G-Man himself has limits. Godzilla would destroy the Titan Hunter with ease!!!

I don't really get why they didn't give the Titan Hunter any weaponry like arm blades or something.
My guess is that budget issues came into play. Even for someone as rich as Raymond, building something that big and powerful completely under the nose of Monarch couldn't have been cheap, and I'm amazed that building the hunter in the first place only cost half-a-billion. Even more money probably went into his private Hollow Earth portal, all his trips into the Hollow Earth, the materials needed for his traps, salaries for his employees, and bribes to keep everything under wraps. The need to keep Titans at a distance and the mech's lack of melee weapons is most likely the reason the Titan Hunter has such long arms in the first place.

I see this as a way to intoduce Jaegers (Which could introduce Jet Jaguar via an AI ran Jaeger) as defenders of coastal cities, not strong enough to challenge Godzilla or Kong alone, but strong enough in numbers to ward off most Titans, and even take some down to defend reactors.

It's kind of unfortunate he was killed in the end. The idea of Monsterverse humans making their own Pacific Rim style mechs to kill titans is such an interesting concept and I'd really love to see more of this in the future

Acting like Godzilla is leagues above Kong even though he won 2/4 fights with him, second time he wasn't even looking for a fight. After a 12 hour battle Godzilla beat an out of shape, inexperienced Kong who was recovering from being sedated, He had to dislocate Kong's arm and did everything in his power to keep him on the ground and not let him escape, at the start of r2 he was getting humiliated by Kong in h2h combat and needed ol'reliable atomic breath to save him. Now with GxK we know that Godzilla would get obliterated if he tried fighting Kong h2h again.
