He very briefly describes the events leading up to a person's death in a fire, how the frak is this "too graphic?" I kept waiting for it to take a very dark twist with those "restricted rooms," but nope. Considering what some of the firefighters said, and what can be said about this type of death, I think his description of the events was "lightly graphic," simply because it involved a painful death. It's not like he described in detail what was happening to every part of the body and what the person was likely feeling at every stage of the process. THAT would be extremely graphic. Awsome! this story is a true testament to the dangers of becoming too obsessed with one thing, whether it's cryptocurrency or underground tunnels. It's a reminder to always keep a sense of balance in our lives and not to let any one pursuit consume us entirely.
I think Daniel's core problem is that he was so focused on proving to himself that he was smarter than everyone else; so consumed with viewing the government as the enemy he needs to shield himself from, that he didn't stop to consider how his work and behavior would impact anyone else or be of use to the government. Or how anyone else might get hurt along the way. Edited to add: I can't tolerate his voice anymore, sorry Jack. He's like Elizabeth Holmes.

Yes, Daniel was guilty of criminally negligence homicide. His negligent behavior directly led to the death of a human being. Daniel did not intend to kill anyone but his lack of action killed someone. Regardless of why Daniel was digging those tunnels, he was smart enough to know he needed to provide a safe environment!!!

I believe he stated that he went back and lived there alone, after the school debacle.
Damn. It sounds like a lot of things contributed to this misfortune. His household hash algorithm included. And this is why a hacker with a clean workspace can actually manage.
