Best part was when you said "Food Fighters," tired much? You need to take better care of yourself Chuckles! You can't keep living this rock 'n roll lifestyle!
The final product looks incredible! Certainly a nice addition to the arcade. Q*bert was one of those games I never got tired of playing. Besides playing it in the arcades, I remember playing the Commodore port a lot as a kid. That's cool how they have a retro game store right alongside the arcade.
Thanks! I'm really happy with it too, and looking forward to giving the second cabinet the same treatment for my own home collection! The setup with the arcade in the back of the game store is really great, and something very unique in our area!
Yes, he’s still very much manufacturing his four different FPGA-based emulation PCBs, although they’re frequently sold out at Arcadeshop. If there’s one you’re looking for, be patient as they get restocked periodically throughout the year. JROK hasn’t developed a new PCB in quite some time though. There are new games being added all the time to CraftyMech’s FPGA-based BitKit2 PCB however!

Mea culpa, I was both tired AND hungry! I'm all jacked up on Mountain Dew, Tighe!

Tomorrow, he's gonna be Overslept Arcade
Kids are nature’s alarm clock.
Talk about a Grand Slam Breakfast! 👏 you knocked it out of the park, sir!
Thanks - but my breakfast was a 32oz Diet Mountain Dew at Sheetz!
Nice Work as always. Fun game I just scored a restored one running a JROK, Wife's thrilled nothing plays like the real thing.
Thanks and congrats!
Great video and great job, once again! I've had some late nights' working on games, but never did an all nighter! haha
So you're telling me I've finally done something that Jeff Kinder would NEVER do?!
@@overtimearcade LOL!!! I think you might be right! I'll start a new channel called "What would Jeff Kinder not do?!" and feature your video. Lol!!
@WWJKD1 SUBBED!
Did you remember to set the JROK to boot straight to Q*Bert? Looks like it boots to the menu.
Yessir, I did the final setup/config on-site at Back to the Media Arcade before the doors opened to the public!
Charlie - awesome video! Great Arcade too. Grateful to you guys keeping the dream alive! Thanks. :)
Thanks, Terry! It was so gratifying seeing people immediately start enjoying the Q*bert that I had only completed restoring a few hours ago!
What’s that wire coming off that drill?Lol
I do have a corded drill, in addition to a couple of cordless ones. Did I use it in this episode? Too tired, can’t remember!
Does JROK still even make stuff anymore?
