Here is the FINAL "OUTSIDE THE HEAD" prep, and by that I mean cleaning the SURFACES like Intake, Deck, Exhaust and blending the edges for Detonation.

Any sharp edge could easily heat up and ignite the fuel air mixture before the plug fires causing preignition/detonation and probable engine damage.
