All the top 250 are using cronus or just cheating. They ruined this game when they added cross play to a game that started on PC. Yes im old I started in COD2. Not MW2 not COD4. And to see what this game has become and many other games almost makes me wish they didn't narcan me back in 2020. Oh well. There are other games out there. But I really wish I could play COD where im not getting lazerd by some cronus user with MK and no recoil scripts and alot of the times walls. I'm forced to cheat to compete. Thanks blizz/activison. BTW they did the same thing in BF another game I adored and now can't enjoy.
Use a controller without aim assist and see how terrible it is. If you don't understand why it's there then dont complain about it. The people you're really losing to are the cronus and soft aimbot users that abuse aim assist.

If you were to take a controller player and a KBM player with the same KD, the KBM would be the more skilled player. Controller is a joke because of aim assist - even with pistols. It is suicide for a KBM player, right off the start of the game, to land near other (controller) players because they will seemingly hit all their shots.
And the tracking of controller is literally an aimbot. The "pull" that controllers players get even when not engaged in a fight gives them information to the whereabouts of an enemy...

@Otonashi-kun Controllers need aim assist. Try using one without it and see how terrible it is. MnK is way more accurate than Controllers. Lack of aim assist is the reason games like The Finals and Xdefiant are dying.

@krspy1337 Siege was never big in consoles. It's was primarily for pc players and most of the best use MnK. The game also isn't fast-paced, so if there were any controller players, it would be significantly easier to play than cod with these movement gods running around. Did you know the majority of gamers are on console? If you lose them, your game goes with it eventually.

i remember playing COD in like 2006 maybe, 2007, and i was on mouse and key then... i always thought it was a PC game. havent owned a console since playstation 1, 1998
but its also because the majority player base is casual, so they need the added assistance to make the game at least enjoyable to play. i'm a pc player btw.

Yep. I've played COD on m+k since cod1 in 2003, before cod even had controller support. The movement that works against m+k players like jumping or changing direction, or jumping around a corner etc doesn't work on controller players because once in their sights, the AA locks on no matter our movement.
I want to switch games, but finding a fast moving game that doesn't force us k+m players against artificial aimers isn't easy

@@RotaryPoweredRX it's sad, really. COD used to be so much fun. On PC at least, we had community. Clans with their own dedicated servers. User created mods and maps etc. It was more like the wild west but in a good way. Now, it feels so locked down. Engineered. Restricted, out of our control.
They constantly remove features, modes. Etc. You have to choose from the modes THEY want you to play. The lobby now disbands after every game so making new friends is much harder.
They've even removed your deaths from the scoreboard so you don't get discouraged and quit. Quitters don't buy battlepacks.
The game is quite literally a microtransaction store with a game built around it. Sad what it has become

Drop shot worked when console was locked to 80 FOV cause you'd drop out of view.. But nowadays especially since it's a slower drop now, not as good.
Fortnite has aim assist but no one complains about it there. Why? Because it is true aim assist and not aimbot being covered up as aim assist.

The difference in accuracy between controllers with aim assist and mouse and keyboard is a serious issue. With the fast-paced movement in the game, it’s nearly impossible for mouse and keyboard players to match the accuracy of controllers. It's clear that mouse and keyboard users need some form of rotational assist to balance the playing field. It's a misconception that every mouse player has god-like accuracy, just as it's unrealistic to assume that every controller player sticks to targets 100% of the time. The truth is, there are different skill levels across both input methods. However, in the current state of the game, if you put two equally skilled players against each other-one using a controller and the other a mouse-the controller player will almost certainly win, and this holds true at every skill level. I don't want an aim assist nerf-that would be lazy and unfair to the players who rely on it. It’s dialed in just right, so don’t mess with what’s not broken. But anyone who’s being real knows it’s not a fair fight for mouse players right now, so let’s fix that without punishing the controller crowd.
Aim assist whenever it's on M&K or on controller is a *non sequitur* as PvP is raw skill by definition and automations are classified as cheats no matter if it's in-game implementation or not 🤣. This narrative is just to shrink any skill gaps possible between the casual sofa gamer vs the grinder tryhard gamer who learnt to play the game which again is non sequitur since the premise of PvP always creates skill gaps between players. Deductive reasoning proves this : P1 : PvP is a type of multiplayer interactive conflict within a game between human players. As conflict may be used here as a noun, you are "conflicting" against others which is a verb this time : be incompatible or at variance, variance is a synonym of variable, K/D and W/L ratios are variables therefore PvP by definition is a conflicting game against human players where skill and performances are variables and is *UNAVOIDABLE* . P2 : Aim assist is an automation based on a certain %age of an aimbot (mostly RAA) and SBMM divide or shrinks the gaps between player to make it "fairer" (less variables possible) C : therefore PvP with Aim assist and SBMM is a conflicting game against other human players but equalized. It's a non sequitur. trying to equalize players doesn't make sense in a PvP, why aim assist or EOMM so ? now ima debunk this "controllers are not as accurate..." this is a lie and a red herring as the argument is "the thumbs !" 🤓🤓🤓. I'm gonna quickly educate people on what's an analog signal. An analog signal is a *continuous* signal in which one time-varying quantity represents another time-based variable. A mouses use digital signal : a signal that represents data as a sequence of discrete values. A digital signal can only take on one value from a finite set of possible values at a given time. It's only binary and has only 2 options : 0 & 1 which isn't ideal for aiming but controllers have analog signal which can vary and stay continuous once the joystick is moved. Digital will *NEVER* be as accurate as analog, it's approximations only, like by example a recording of a song or the fact a light needs multiple lightswitchs to vary the lighting % which is impossible with only one since it goes from 0% to instantly 100%. Even if you have 32 lightswitchs, this will never be as good as a knob which can have thousands of different lighting variables. So stop using the argument "controllers aren't as accurate as..." this is deffamation against the input at this point and don't get started with the "even if the input is technically more accurate, humans are not..." 🤓🤓🤓 Shaolin monks can push ups using 2 fingers, yet the thumb can't be accurate ???? are you ret4rded ? no you don't need to train for years to be good on controllers without AA, indeed since the body adapts, it should be months only, 2-3 years for those who want to become e-sport players... all it requires is practice, robots are not competitive input. it's like allowing people who are in wheelchairs to enter in marathons, but then wanting the wheelchairs to do as good as the normal runners, but they can't because there way of locomotion is inferior because you don't have legs, so you let them install motors, but a machine will always beat the body in terms of endurance and consistency, and so the runners just switch to using wheelchairs too, but once the runners who want to run stop running because all competitive integrity is gone you call the runners who stopped a bunch of crybaby elitists because they "won't compete with the handicapped players".
The takeaway: Equality of competitive outcome is not possible, one is using the whole arm vs just thumbs after all. Once a computer starts "assisting" ether one, skill integrity is compromised.
The solution : PvP should be *ONLY* for players who are willing to play against other players while knowing the consequences they might get stomped by better players because... they are just better. It should *NEVER* be for casuals who want effortless kills because "it's not fun to get stomped" but that's how PvP works buddy.
conclusion : remove automations and remove SBMM/EOMM or any restriction. It's either you're bad or good, kill or get killed.
This is why Faze is a thing. Every one of them use a controller the only legit good gamers are K&M

Yeah unfortunately cod isn't a PC game i swapped to controller for a few games and the game basically plays itself sadly no way of playing vs only other MKB players as it feels endlessly more rewarding aiming yourself but there is no point playing it when half the lobby has aimbot which negates all the recoil/sway of the gun their fighting not to mention being able to lock on to you whilst you're drop shotting or jumping around.
Auto-Aim, aim assists, aimbots, wallhacks, hacks of any kind are not fun.

Call me crazy but aim assist isn’t op. You can get even better aim if you turn it off and practice. As a controller player, it often throws me off and makes me miss because it moves the aiming I was already doing off. I honestly think my kbm aim is better I just don’t like using it much. It’s also basically nonexistent from mid to long range.

The thing is TTK is very low in this game, I have lost many 1v1 just for missing 2 bullets, whereas aim assists is accurate in close range once you lock in.

Aim assist is super sticky. And, to think, you’re probably getting slammed by some little kid (pause). Controller players don’t understand that there is no room for error on mouse. You also don’t have the game pulling you toward the enemy during movement or in blind areas so you can’t afford to miss shots - and sometimes you can’t even see if they have proned, etc.
Buys the game, buys every weapon blueprints packages and plays with aim assist on, like wtf is this how you enjoy the game?
If this was a console thing pc players would say buy a pc you bot, so, if it so easy then just switch and stop complaining

The truth is I have yet to see streamer type of “aim assist” across console or pc. I don’t think it exists to the degree they claim. On my Xbox and pc I get virtually no slow down whatsoever across the target. At this point I truly believe it’s a cover for using Cronus scripts and just telling everybody it’s built into the game. No way stock settings give you sticky aim like that.

Even faze nio has said before that u can surpass controller on kb&m once you’ve played on it for years and are use to it

For fuck sake's, that's not an aim assist, that's an aimbot connected to a foot pedal, everyone must have seen when Nadia and Symfuhny played at that event. These two have a streaming program that covers the cheat and they switch to full screen facecam mode when they get to change the aimbot settings so this is just a default
I understand the pain because I main kbm but when it comes to games with mixed inputs with AA I use controller because its more consistent and I actually dont mind getting used to controller. kbm players need to stop crying and learn to adapt
We don't switch because kbm is way funner. Playing on controller feels like the game is doing everything for you. It's like driving manual vs automatic

the fact that 1k-1.5k pc builds are struggling to get 100 fps shows how much they care about their PC community. its a console game, it has always have been. just get over it PLUS controller on PC is just OP, it doesnt feel the same as console its way smoother.
It's more like morons not buying a fast CPU for that 1k to 1.5k money and instead investing all their money to a graphics card and then wondering why doesn't a cpu bound game run well.

I think people may be confused, the aim assist could be really strong or could be the same as mw2, but this could be slight stick drift or something because you have to apply a certain amount of pressure on your sticks to trigger the aim assist
If you think aim assist sticks like aimbotting there is truly something wrong. If that was the case any bot should be at 2kd in a few weeks. Aim asset slides towards a person but does not stick to an exact spot on a player.. People are so gullible..
If everybody has the same aim assist then bots can't become 2kd players. There has to be players under 1kd for others to be above 2kd.
I haven't played on a controller in over 12 years and managed to drop 6 kills trying it for the first time on WZ2. My aim on controller is terrible. I was just wildly swinging my crosshair and it managed to stick to enough targets.
If you have a girl and she's never played video games then let her try WZ2. She will likely get a kill in her first game on controller
