  • Finally got around to making this video!
    Welcome to what is essentially a sequel to my "Hofner Demo." This time, I am focusing on my #VoxMiniSuperbeetleBass amp, featuring both my #Hofner and #Rickenbacker bass guitars. In the demo, I mess around for a little, and then jump into some #Beatles songs without a backing a track.
    The video was recorded on my phone, so the sound is not the best (but it's not terrible).
    Enjoy and comment your questions below!

    I’m looking to buy a bass amp but all the demos for the superbeetle bass used fenders and whatnot. I play a hofner so I was really stoked to see you use one in the video. Thanks for the sick demo man!

    Ajoep asked if it was loud enough for playing with a band ? NO NO NO NO just stop yourself saying yes!!! It's not loud enough not even close. Have you ever been in the same room as a drummer who is really hitting the drums ?

      He says you can just crank the thing up or plug in an external speaker

    Thanks for this! Like others in the comments section, I've had to trudge through endless guitar reviews to find this bass demo. It's honestly so appreciated.
    Perhaps you could help me: I've been trying to figure out if the record/headphones output mutes the cabinet, or not. ie could I run a signal out to record but still be hearing what I'm playing from the amp?

      @LeviGornish  3 года назад

      Rhianna Miles - Great question! Unfortunately, the cabinet does mute when the headphones output is in use.

      @@LeviGornish Hmmm, good to know! Do I love this amp enough to ignore that and get one anyway. Probably, yeah.

      @@LeviGornish but it can still be run directly into a PA as well right? Even though the cab is muted

      If you turn it up, yes! If you need it louder (say for a performance or extra loud drummer), you can also plug an external speaker!

      Not really. The “E” string is not as smooth as the others which may make it sound buzzy on camera.

    • @LeviGornish
      @LeviGornish  7 месяцев назад

      I have. It just sounds like a guitar running through any other bass amp. No effects and pretty dark.
