Dimash does not sign an all-inclusive contract with the music industry. He determines what he sings, wears and does. He doesn't let himself be put in any box and sings from opera to rap. That answers your question as to why he isn't being pushed. The companies don't promote the best as we know. Dimash, a proud Kazakh, had his big start in China. In the meantime, he has fans all over the world and fills big concerts. He is the best of the best.
Honestly, it's better that he stays independent. Record labels control artists and what they can and can't do, plus take way too much of their hard earned money!

Kind, thoughtful, polite, respectful, & nobody owns him. He sings what he wants to, when he wants to, how he wants to, & nobody can dictate to him as he does not sign contracts. He sells out concerts worldwide, donates many of the proceeds to purchase medical equipment, help disaster areas, & many more that are never bragged about. Dimashali is his production company he owns, along with his parents, most of the backing musicians/singers are family & friends. You’re right. There are many mysteries on this planet, and many things that are just flat out wrong and unfair. And the fact that he is not known in America for example, as he should be, is practically a sin. But I have determined or surmised that he is carefully plotting and planning his Eventual overnight success in America. It may happen with David Foster, and it may happen with another record producer such as Walter Afonasief. But we must be patient and understanding because the American music industry can be very fickle and possessive of their American singing celebrities. Once he hits the American music scene with whatever debut song he offers, he will leave all the other singing celebrities way behind.

He says he embodies the emotions in a song and then conveys them to an audience. He looks upon that as his responsibility to God, his parents, and humanity - to connect with and uplift people. And he is the kindest, most generous and approachable person you could ever meet. I’m finally going to my first live concert in Budapest in May. Dimash is recognized worldwide by top music professionals as probably the greatest singer/performer the world has ever seen. He has 2 music degrees and is completing his doctorate in music composition. He plays multiple instruments, sings so far in around 15 different languages in every style from classical to rap. He's a superstar in China, Russia and many other countries and fills out stadiums all over the world. In fact people fly in from all over the world to see him, every time he arrives at an airport Dears (fans) present him with flowers. He sings from bass baritone to soprano 7 octaves and has hit a whistle note higher than Mariah Carey live in concert.
What I also really like with him is how his video clips and live performances are identical. We've grown accustomed to that just not being the case in the world of music. They fancy up video clips productions with all sorts of post work that could never be done live you think and it's true you conclude when you hear the live performance which may not be bad but is definitely different. Not with Dimash... When you view a video like The Story of One Sky if it were any other artist - anyone at all - you'd know there's just no way they will do that live. The live version is actually gonna be a different song, some sort of interpretation of it that they can do. And then you watch the Almaty concert fancam video and it's like... yup, of course; exactly the same, because Dimash.
Dimash started his musical journey at the tender age of 2. His parents are in the music industry, mom is an opera singer, soprano, and dad did more contemporary singing. Also he was the cultural director in the city of Aktobe, Kazakhstan. He basically used to run up on stage to be with his parents at the end of the show and his love of the stage was born. Of course he had classical training starting at the age of 5, where they learned he had perfect pitch. He plays lots of instruments and sings in many languages. He speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently and his English has become conversational. His Chinese still needs work. He has 2 bachelors degrees, one in Bel Canto (opera style singing) and another in pop/ jazz vocals. He has a masters degree in musical composition and working on his doctorate. Which we all believe it should be soon. He will turn 30 this year. Dimash is the nicest person on the planet. Respectful, loving, giving and humble. I just watched our dear Dimash crack your heart open there. Good reaction. Yes, he has a bedrock of natural talent (and famous singer parents) but it *is* mostly hard work, 2-3 hours vocal training a day most days since age 5, plus hours more in instruments and composition. He's 30 this year. We call him possibly the greatest singer in the world for a reason! He is famous worldwide now, and people fly in to hear him sing. Trust me, if you get the chance, mortgage the house if necessary and go see him in person. Worth it.

He came into the world view and awareness in 2017 The Singer in China, that has quite a few performances on that show, and Opni Pietra 2021 is another great one. He sings in several genres and that is one of his goals to not be restricted to just one and he has several as you will come to know. Even one with a little rap in it.

I can't begin to tell you what a small piece of a very large iceberg this is, but I am sure others have tried to do so. As a matter of fact, Dimash is known by some folks in virtually every country on earth but has widespread fame in only a very few of them. As for why not, I think a lot of that is on Dimash himself since he has refused to sell his soul to major record companies and prefers to be an independent producer of his own music so that he has the freedom to be as complex and creative as he chooses to be. And much as it would make we fans happy if he were known by every person on Earth, we have learned to be fine with his decisions in that regard.
I think that's fantastic! I cover a lot of independent artists, and they've all figured out that not being signed to a label is actually much more advantageous for them. No label telling them what to do! That is what most artists need to do! Thankfully, we get to see him thanks to technology!

In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly anyway😅). However, if you include the notes he has sung live in his concerts so far, you get almost 8 octaves (7.7 from vocal fry C1 (B0) to the whistle register D8; this note is no longer on the piano). At least that's what he's shown us so far. And this in all registers (chest, mixed and head voice up to the whistle register). The transitions from one register to the other are so fluid that they are sometimes not recognized even by vocal coaches or professional singers. His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of daily hard training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. And at his concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan on September 23, 2022 he sang in 7 languages in one concert! And at his concert in Yerevan on April 29, 2023, he sang an Armenian folk song for the first time (it has to be about 16 or 17 languages so far). But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired. Dimash does not sign an all-inclusive contract with the music industry. He determines what he sings, wears and does. He doesn't let himself be put in any box and sings from opera to rap. That answers your question as to why he isn't being pushed. The companies don't promote the best as we know. Dimash, a proud Kazakh, had his big start in China. In the meantime, he has fans all over the world and fills big concerts. He is the best of the best.

He says he embodies the emotions in a song and then conveys them to an audience. He looks upon that as his responsibility to God, his parents, and humanity - to connect with and uplift people. And he is the kindest, most generous and approachable person you could ever meet. I’m finally going to my first live concert in Budapest in May. Dimash is recognized worldwide by top music professionals as probably the greatest singer/performer the world has ever seen. He has 2 music degrees and is completing his doctorate in music composition. He plays multiple instruments, sings so far in around 15 different languages in every style from classical to rap. He's a superstar in China, Russia and many other countries and fills out stadiums all over the world. In fact people fly in from all over the world to see him, every time he arrives at an airport Dears (fans) present him with flowers. He sings from bass baritone to soprano 7 octaves and has hit a whistle note higher than Mariah Carey live in concert.

What I also really like with him is how his video clips and live performances are identical. We've grown accustomed to that just not being the case in the world of music. They fancy up video clips productions with all sorts of post work that could never be done live you think and it's true you conclude when you hear the live performance which may not be bad but is definitely different.

When you view a video like The Story of One Sky if it were any other artist - anyone at all - you'd know there's just no way they will do that live. The live version is actually gonna be a different song, some sort of interpretation of it that they can do.
And then you watch the Almaty concert fancam video and it's like... yup, of course; exactly the same, because Dimash.
Dimash started his musical journey at the tender age of 2. His parents are in the music industry, mom is an opera singer, soprano, and dad did more contemporary singing. Also he was the cultural director in the city of Aktobe, Kazakhstan. He basically used to run up on stage to be with his parents at the end of the show and his love of the stage was born. Of course he had classical training starting at the age of 5, where they learned he had perfect pitch. He plays lots of instruments and sings in many languages. He speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently and his English has become conversational. His Chinese still needs work. He has 2 bachelors degrees, one in Bel Canto (opera style singing) and another in pop/ jazz vocals. He has a masters degree in musical composition and working on his doctorate. Which we all believe it should be soon. He will turn 30 this year. Dimash is the nicest person on the planet. Respectful, loving, giving and humble. His fans are called Dears, Dimash named us himself. Well welcome to the journey that is Dimash.

I just watched our dear Dimash crack your heart open there. Good reaction. Yes, he has a bedrock of natural talent (and famous singer parents) but it *is* mostly hard work, 2-3 hours vocal training a day most days since age 5, plus hours more in instruments and composition. He's 30 this year. We call him possibly the greatest singer in the world for a reason! He is famous worldwide now, and people fly in to hear him sing. Trust me, if you get the chance, mortgage the house if necessary and go see him in person. Worth it.

He came into the world view and awareness in 2017 The Singer in China, that has quite a few performances on that show, and Opni Pietra 2021 is another great one. He sings in several genres and that is one of his goals to not be restricted to just one and he has several as you will come to know. Even one with a little rap in it.
I reacted the same to you. This was also the first song I heard from him since 2 years ago and I can't stop hearing him. He is from Kazajstán, there he was 26, now he is 29 and is even better. I can't begin to tell you what a small piece of a very large iceberg this is, but I am sure others have tried to do so. As a matter of fact, Dimash is known by some folks in virtually every country on earth but has widespread fame in only a very few of them. As for why not, I think a lot of that is on Dimash himself since he has refused to sell his soul to major record companies and prefers to be an independent producer of his own music so that he has the freedom to be as complex and creative as he chooses to be. And much as it would make we fans happy if he were known by every person on Earth, we have learned to be fine with his decisions in that regard.
I think that's fantastic! I cover a lot of independent artists, and they've all figured out that not being signed to a label is actually much more advantageous for them. No label telling them what to do! That is what most artists need to do! Thankfully, we get to see him thanks to technology!

His utterly astonishing level of talent and absolutely vast vocal range are why first-time reactions to him can never get old. Because he never fails to blow anyone away who actually grasps what they are hearing. Which is a level of singing so far beyond everything. well he has 185 videos they are amazing and different it is hard to pick one they are all on his channel some of his songs have 22 M plus views.
You're right; He IS The Best of The Best. Literally the GOAT. Dimash is world renowned. He has millions of fans from every country and his concerts sell out in minutes. People travel to wherever he is performing, just to experience, if only once in their lifetime, the wonder of hearing Dimash Live. Established vocal coaches are coming out now internationaly and talking about how he is changing our understanding of what the human voice is capable of. Many are saying; 'We now have to talK about singing 'Before The Time of Dimash' and 'Post'... That's how important an artist this is.
Why haven't you heard of him before? Because the Western Music Industry, for decades now, has been heavily weighted against non-english artists, and is locked into heavilly marketed and narrow genre specific 'lanes'. Dimash likes to explore creatively across all genres - and does. He also sings and composes in over 16 languages - including English.
( We have to remind ourselves, from time to time, that only 17% of the worlds population speaks English. But 100% speak 'Music, The Language of the Soul! 😊

Dimash 29, is CEO and sole head of a world leader in the production industry recently featured in a German TV special as one of 5 young adults around the world who are "drastically changing their industries. Widely recognized as a genius in music AND in business ".. Besides filling global arenas, he's writing his Doctoral thesis for his PhD in Composition, remaining a fulltime honors student and performing at the same time throughout his entire career in addition to building his production organization. Saying he needed the weight of advanced education to compose seriously in the future.

They hired an international strategic planning firm years ago to develop a working plan for his career and personal life to afford him the time necessary to obtain his degrees and develop the organization necessary to sustain his long term growth in the entertainment industry to include music, videos, film, concerts and multi media endeavors which he's accomplished ! He's 3rd generation in a family of successful vocalists and musicians who are solidly behind him and he's been studying and performing his entire life surrounded by people who love and respect him. Dimash is a 29-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly anyway😅). However, if you include the notes he has sung live in his concerts so far, you get almost 8 octaves (7.7 from vocal fry C1 (B0) to the whistle register D8; this note is no longer on the piano). At least that's what he's shown us so far. And this in all registers (chest, mixed and head voice up to the whistle register). The transitions from one register to the other are so fluid that they are sometimes not recognized even by vocal coaches or professional singers.
His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of daily hard training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. And at his concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan on September 23, 2022 he sang in 7 languages in one concert! And at his concert in Yerevan on April 29, 2023, he sang an Armenian folk song for the first time (it has to be about 16 or 17 languages so far).
He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how.
Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, intelligent, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this.
His concert in September 23, 2022 in Almaty, Kazakhstan was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, you realize you are so wrong.
He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills.
He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing. Not only is he perfect at singing and performing, he's also an incredibly good actor. Check out his music videos. They are amazing. You think I’m exaggerating? No, I don’t think so😄.
He sang this song on his digital concert in January 2021 during the pandemic. He had to cancel his tour and did this concert for his Dears/fans. That’s why there was no audiende to be seen or heard.
SOS is a song in the rock-opera „Starmania“ from 1978. The first who presented this song was the French singer and songwriter Daniel Balavione.
SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired. He was just 22 years old at the time.

The man who often plays the kobys in Dimash’s performances is the best on this instrument and a good friend of Dimash. His name is Olzhas Qurmanbek. Stranger is one of my absolute favorite songs. I get goosebumps every time I hear it.
