I live in Greenville and own downtown's oldest bar (Connolly's Irish Pub). I am in New Orleans now or i would meet you! SC has its problems. But I grew up outside Clearwater, FL (Palm Harbor) and Florida is now unrecognizable to me. But while there, TRY to find homeless folks. I swear that we must illegally ship them out.
near charlotte might have something to do with it? i had a friend who moved there several years ago near greenville sc. charlotte is growing went through winstom saluem 3 years ago and it was booming to lots of development and housing being put in. state next to charlotte also growing like crazy when we went through 3 years ago.

large part of the west side of downtown is ugly, old, run down. moved from sw fl to Greenville 2 years ago.

Greenville is a nice medium size city. Not much crime compared to other cities like Charlotte,Charleston and Columbia. Its mainly a White area though
How are the rents there?
