I attach soft shackles to the tarps attachment points. Then I attach the soft shackles to the prusik loops with kite knots.
To put up my ridgeline I attach two more prusik hitches to the ridgeline.
And in those two prusik loops I tie jungle knots at the bottom of the loops that are about two inches apart.
Then I tie the ridgeline to the first tree with a modified siberian hitch. Then I bring the other end of the ridgeline and just one of the prusik hitches that has the jungle knot around the other tree.
Then I attach the prusik hitch that I brought around the tree to the other prusik hitch that also has the jungle knot at the bottom of the prusik loop.
Then just pull on the ridgeline to tighten it up as you slide the prusik hitch to tighten up the ridgeline.
