Hello mr motobike man. im just curious as to how many times you have been in a serious crash with a motorcycle? since youre a very spirited rider i mean. ive been off two times, one of wich very badly. Any tips on how to keep up the pace without, well, crashing horribly.
@@potatoin-a-cup2122 ride at your own pace buddy. 🤓 train on learning the roads first that you wanna have fun on. and practice with somthing manageable. not most can just get on the 1000cc and smash twisties when they themselfs have not fully understood the capability of there bike. practice practice practice. 👍 its my 2 cents.
I cannot say how much I enjoy your clips. They just put me in a state of "I feel like I am almost present in that moment". I get some spikes of fear when you get closer to puddles. Wonderful roads and atmosphere makes it a dream to ride in these places. Cheers dude, I'll try to get there some day

I was lucky to ride this same stretch in June 2019 as well. Our group of 5 riders lost 1 to a crash on our way there, and another to keep him company. The three of us remaining that got to go on had a poor conscience and at the same time a fantastic ride.
Anyway, after shoulder surgery our buddy is back on the bike again. Hope they both get to see it for themselves some day. It is sublime 👌
Hopefully they'll do! They're missing out!

Hahaha.. It happened the same to me. I had the chance to go riding in Europe in June 2019. I managed to do 10.000 km and 9 countries in 1 month. And in a couple of places like Furka Pass and others I found myself in the summer and the bottom, and winter on top. That reminds me, I gotta thank you. I got over 100 spots in my GPS to visit, roads to ride, etc. Lots of them I got from your videos. I now have one more, Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse. I rode mainly in the Swiss Alps and Italy, but I gotta say, Austria was equally great. I rented my bike from an Austrian company. And the little bit I got to see, made me wanna go back some time and give the country a longer visit. Anyway, I just wanted to say: thanks, man. Cheers.

@@Schaaf I planned to do as many km as I could, just in case it was a once in a lifetime opportunity. I live in Argentina, so I don't know when I would be able to go back. So, at least I made my time and money worth the trip. :)

The hairpin at 13:00 probably is one of the most scenic corners in the world. Driving this downwards in the opposite direction on a clear and sunny day simply is jawdropping!

I live in Vermont and that looks similar to my early Spring time rides. But that view at 10:40 and 14:48!!! WHEW! Incredible. Simply beautiful ride.

I’m currently with a non weight bearing leg since last summer (please avoid cars 😔) however since I’ve seen the happy for 8 days and today this raw video, grossglockner is my first big bike mission after I gain all this lost strength back. Thank you. Ride safe please. Always.

I am scare. What is the temperature, and I wonder what tires are used. Of course the rider's skills are great, but it's amazing to corner with high speeds at low temperatures. Of course your video is the best.

I've tried to ride this road 3 times. Twice in may, once in september. All the three times it was snowing that day on top, so I never was able to ride it. This year in june I'm gonna try a 4th time. I hope to get as lucky as you. and to see the same kid of scenery...

Watching you ride this way betheen snow and water in the road OmG!! Don't trust riding you see in videos. Book training courses and learn from actual pros :)
Your Grossglockner videos looks so different each time. I rode there last summer climbing from Lienz and the summit was in deep fog so I didn't recognize the scenery until the restaurant :) building. great videos, love them. would love to see your opinion and riding on 1090 KTM adventure S.

When the Sierra snowpack is very deep sometimes I'll be riding through walls of icy glacier blue more than ten feet tall, like being in a crazy, curving toboggan run. Overhead may be blue sky and mild temperatures, even a mostly dry road surface. You can't even believe your own eyes!

Great video, just you the bike and stunning roads and scenery. No talking bullshit that annoys. Well edited too👍👍 I also took this route once when I lived in Germany, very similar weather and snow , heading to Italy. Can remember the intense smell of snow and fresh air , fantastic. What multi is that as I am currently looking at 950s, a hypermotard and new Diavel s ?

Riding with deep snow all around you is bizarre. I've only done it once here in the US traveling over the Colorado Rockies. I took a few pics then boogied, it was freezing.

Freust du dich eigentlich schon auf die Norden 901? Ich glaub die Duke 890 bist du ja noch nicht gefahren aber der Motor sollte ja im Prinzip der selbe sein. Also das Concept ist ja schon einmal eine Augenweide und es soll sich ja zum Produktionsmodell kaum was ändern, Fahrspaß kann die Kiste bestimmt auch liefern :D
