You make it look simple, huge curvy downhill descent, and lots of blind corners. Throughout I kept wanting some plain stretch, to hear that bike roar, but less opportunities. You still did 3 digit speeds, which is astonishing! Only someone skilled could ride so simply in this dangerous track. Amazing work Schaff! And awesome greenery too! :)
Der Klang der 1260 ist um soviel besser als der der Multi V4!!! Im Handling sieht’s anders aus, aber die große V2 ist das wesentlich emotionalere Bike! Super Video, Schaaf!
Awesome run. Landscape, sound in low rpm and dowshift and your drive it's a good learning . Follow your style now I'm not so bad in slow right corner. I'm emproving myself week by week. Thx 🏆🥇
I enjoy the video. Thanks man. Wow...u got nice beautiful country there..nice road...👍😁 if u add a 360cam for extra view..thatd be cool..catch all the actions..
Took me just 3 years. Now I just try to maintain the same speed and brake as little as possible. Enjoying the scenery while I ride straight or on easy sections. And I just 32....
Here goes my unpopular comment regarding the big bikes on such roads: I definitely think and feel that I would be much more happy and filled with joy of using all the 5-6 gears range of a CB500 or Duke 390 and squeeze the hell out of all juice their engines can ooze on these roads, rather than use only 3 gears of a 140-150 hp monster with only a mere third of the throttle.. For reference, please see Schaaf ripping his good old CB500. p.s. The sound of the desmo V-Twin is something else though, to be honest! :) Cheers..
lovely road and I really like these 1st time rides, makes me feel much better about my skills, not being a complete snail compared to you, like in the other ones :P
Hello, have watched almost all your videos now, great, thank you very much! I drive a Multistrada 1200s built in 2013 and I am thinking about what comes next: Multi 1260 , Duke GT, or maybe R1250RS. You seem to like the RS - is it an alternative to the Multi? Thanks
That's one sweet-sounding machine man! I bet it's a pleasure to operate. I looked up the pricing on one of those bad-boys, but it's a little out of my range at the moment. lol I'll probably get a Honda PCX150 (don't laugh at me) and use it to slowly cruise the backroads. I'm in no hurry these days. I like to shoot photography and the ease of a scooter to pull off the road and hop off easily will make a nice fit. When I ride my Trek bike I am taking photos as much as I'm actually riding it. Ha. -HS
Schaaf is very rich, because his family produce the famous "Schaaf's ointment against bedsores in the coffin". Since the first use by the ancient pharaos of egypt, no customer has ever complained about the quality of the product.
Great riding, scenery was amazing! I test rode that same motorcycle 2 weeks ago and loved it but felt a lot of vibes when wringing it out, could get annoying on roads like you were riding. How was it for you?
Why do you use the 1st and 2nd gear in such a downhill?! I'm really embarrassed to ask you this question because you're a really good rider, but i really can not understand the advantage of using the 1st gear so often.. With a such powerful engine you have enough traction with the 2nd gear.. or the 3rd..
How did You like the bike? Couple weeks ago I've tested it and I must say I was a bit dissapointed. The bike itself is great perfomer but as for a long journey oriented, I expected it to be much more comfortable. The seat caused my butt gettong closer to the tank all the time and it was not that comfofrtable in seatting. Vibrations going thru the bar - another thing. After 3 hrs long ride I felt my hands got a bit numb. Last thing - stability at high speeds. Over 160 the bike looses stability going straight. I guess it's the matter of high suspension, big front end anf probably the weakness of oll the so called "adventure bikes". I saw the same on Tiger 1200.

Everyday like this motorbike, but I am between the BMW gs 1250, KTM 1290 adventure and this Ducati Multistrada 1260, looks great and great video
You'll have to try all of them :)
How you get that pure sound of the engine ? The video is amazing
Another beautiful scenery. The Machine is like sport truck
thanks!
Aw yeah the mighty 1260
Listen to that slipper clutch....
Ahahaha ;)
Great little road, nice views and pretty towns. Thank you for this, it's the closest I'll get to being in Italy this year
Glad you enjoyed, mate!!
Love your videos. Amazing place. From a purely riding point of view I think that I would enjoy going up the hill more than down it though.
Thanks Bob
I love this video. Love for Multistrada. Love for the awesome road. Thank you very much for the combination ♥️.
Thanks
Beautiful
thanks!
Erstmal die Straße auf Maps gespeichert👍.

Nice run

you're right about that. But still big adventure bikes are soooo agile that indeed it is also a great joy :)
Stunning scenery. You still ride the CB500?
yes but currently it is out of order (needs maintenance and the TÜV inspection)
Beautiful place!
Thanks
Great road 😍 Loved riding it two years ago. I want to go back and rip up some tarmac again. 😪 When approx was this recorded?

Yes it is if you're road riding only. The RS even has the better suspension for road riding!
Your country is beautiful, I'd love to ride there someday
Nice!

Benieuwd wanneer je een keer de nieuwe versys 1000 test.

I didn't mind those at all. But I think the suspension and chassis is not stiff enough
Looks awesome Schaaf! What shutter speed was used on your gopro? Also do you downscale when you render? Also what resolution and FPS do you record at?
It was on Auto. In this case 2.7K and 60fps

Hey man, how do you like this motor compared to the KTM 1290?
It has more soul but the KTMs engine is technically superior

Go for it. I couldn’t be more happy.
Yea, have fun ;)

Maybe some habits from small engined bikes... anything above 1000cc has the "guts" to avoid 1st and 2nd
Engine braking and Torque... 😉👍
You've probably never experienced engine braking on a big V-Twin, brakes almost become trivial.
Maybe engine breaking? The more u used usual brake on the downhill, more heat on the disk brake (?)
Phil3555 bmw r1200r, ktm 1190, ktm 1090r, for total 100.000 km.. is it enough for experience?!
