I've only been listening to this guy for three days. He is brilliant. "Sea Of Heartbreak" in his performance is the best among others. God look after him!
So many memories ! from the discovery from the whole album Rock billy boogie , on French TV, I have followed this great artist. never deceived alway great!
I saw Robert with Danny Gatton on the Humbler tour. This band is better than a lot of the American ones I've seen him with in the last few years. Glad Robert is still out there rocking.
No US national media attention for his passing and likewise for Ed Ames who recorded Melody D'Amour "57 with his brothers, but plenty for post Beatle British artists. Gordon in my opinion was the one of the best of post 50's rockabilly singers. His Gene Vincent JD image was too much for most of the fickle American public. I saw him in Chicago in '77 with Link Wray. He stayed true to the style and cut some fine songs backed by Gatton and Link Wray that should have been hits. He probably would have needed some original material to be more commercially successful. Ironically, he was surpassed by the Stray Cats and Freddy Mercury of Queen ( Crazy Little Thing Called Love) that got the attention. Rest in peace my man, loved your music.
Robert has been playing his whole life with pick up bands. He's played Hamilton Ont.dozens of times. It's always great with Spedding. He came here just before the covid
DID YOU EVER PLAY AT THE AMERICAN LEIGON IN LAUREL, MD. WHEN LINK WRAY PLAYED A GIG THERE ? YA KNOW , THE SIZE OF YOUR HEAD HAS REALLY CHANGED FROM WHEN YOU WERE A SQUIRREL OF A BOY WITH BIG EARS.

I still listen to "Too Fast to Live, Too Young to Die" to this day. Awesome album. Go man go!
Love it too. So good. Almost saw him live in 1985. I'm sure it was a great show. He was still in his prime then.

Pete Anderson in the audience! :)
A bit on the country side but great nevertheless! About the mic Robert uses, does he always prefer the Shure sm57?
🎶🎵
Would of loved to see him backed with Pete Anderson. But alas....

Estonian rock is powerful intellectual music.
Poor without Chris
Robert got fat here, but slimmed down in his final years.
YOU LOOK LIKE YOU SHOULD BE WEARING A COWBOY HAT !
Or hanging out with the Sopranos
