I can't wait for the game 3 races to start getting DLCs, will really help the ones that are lagging, which is basically all of them except Slaanesh and Cathay. I guess Khorne is decent as well.

I think Ogre infantry just don't do enough damage to be worth it in 90% of matchups, barring maneaters. I think they are kind of a one trick pony. You 'should' go mass Gnoblars, mass Sabretusk and then SEM spam. This gives them enough mass and mobility to pick their fights and win tactically.
I feel like Ogre bulls need some kind of Quality of Life change. Or maybe some extra Melee Attack and Melee Defence, and a touch of leadership.
Their weakness is pretty much the same as it was on the tabletop. They are very expensive for a low model count, low leadership and low Weapon skill unit. They can't put out enough damage, AND tank enough damage to basically ever break even on value. In my opinion, GW have a history of under stating a lot of the evil factions. For a race of what are basically violent barbarians that have been fighting since a very young age, they should be intrinsically skilled at fighting. The average 'untrained' Ogre should be slightly more skilled than a trained human soldier. And their leadership should be higher too. They have grown up in far harsher and in a much less forgiving environment than humans. Beastmen always had the same problems more or less.
I think most people misinterpret The faith part.- in ''Faith, Steel and gunpowder''. It doesn't necessarily need to be invoked by an arch lector or warrior priest. When you think about it, those infantrymen are mere humans holding their line against monsters that could easily kill them in one swing and them still holding the line while shouting ''SİGMAAR'', ''ULRIIC'', shows there is faith whenever there are chaff units, even though if there are no priests around. Faith doesn't even have to be towards a god to be honest. I believe at least most of those men have faith towards humanity and empire itself, giving their lives so their race, families and land may survive.

Really wonder if it may be worth to just *not* bring any Spearmen in this matchup and replace them with Swordsmen. If the biggest issue are Gnoblars and both FCM and Hunters can remove the Ogre units, then Swordsmen may be a real value pick considering that Spearmen get dunked on by Bulls anyways.
Those poor Ogers never stood a chance.

Love hadres
The ogres should have run their sabertusks through the trees instead of straight down the middle every time. Also, at the very beginning, instead of charging the infantry line, the leftmost bulls should have avoided it completely and dove the backline, forcing an early net. Very winnable for Hadres, too many thoughtless movements.
Do Ogres ever win?
It seems that every single game I see here is Ogres walking up and getting shut down by nets, cav, pistols, juking models, flying models, etc while they have absolutely no method to stop it.

@Turin you should hop back in Dune Spice wars for a stream one of these days. So much in the game has been updated. Corrino, air units, unit upgrades, a new victory condition a bunch of stuff.

I can't help but feel that in this matchup you're better off with Mournfang cav than ranged, that way your odds of punching through to the back line are much higher.

@@florians9949 Dwarfs and Ogres are sitting at 54% and 49% winrates respectively. Nurgle and Kislev are the ones in the pits.
@@thepiousskeleton6046 Dawi are passable in dominations, but that’s about it. In land battles they are terrible and don’t even get me started about the campaign. They have just been abandonned by CA ever since Warhammer 2.
@@florians9949 They currently have the 7th highest winrate out of 23 factions. That's hardly "passable." As for land battles, they're even more wildly imbalanced than post 2.1 Dom so that's not saying much.
This being said I wouldn't be opposed to them getting a DLC to introduce some of their more obscure and flashy units like the Thunderbarge.

Yeah, the libero/sweeper has really fallen out of favour, 3-5-2 and 5-3-2 are not popular formations, from time to time they are played.
COMPLETELY unrelated to this enjoyable video, but now that Dread knights no longer rampage, what really is the point of the Knights of the ebon claw? Maybe they should relook at that RoR and do something to make them special again? Just something I noticed recently is all.

@@florians9949 Hey they helped the beastmen in tww2 so there's hope. Course... it did take them years to get around to it so it may be a while for the ogres. XD
@@sandpirate1662 On the other hand you have the Dawi who already got 2 dlcs and they still suck. The first one was okay and did introduced their best legendary lord, but also brought one of the worst campagne of ME. The second one however straight up nerfed them. So don’t get your hope to high for CA fixing them.
