    aaawww I dunno about the no cooking, gotta have me a morning coffee and tea throughout the day, plus when you get cold nothing beats a warm meal of baked beans or venison stew VacBagged ! ! . i would probably go no cook for a 12-18 hr hunt and in non cold season. You hard core doing it for two days or more ! ! !

      Doug Mac Haha we ended up only staying a night and my mate brought his stove so I did end up having a hot meal 🙈
      But when I'm solo I've never taken a stove, I also avoid coffee when hunting because it dehydrates me 👍

    With energy/per weight, try salami, cheese, Savoy biscuits. These keep for ages in winter and are loaded.

      Yes did the salami and cheese in NZ last time we were over there and was the bomb 👌👌

    Thanks for the info Tony, much appreciate. Im interested in a back pack hunt but will need to drive some distance to ge there. My question is do you leave your car somewhere public then stomp in or do you leave it in the bush and stomp in from there?

    • @tonygillahan
      @tonygillahan  7 лет назад +1

      Gavin Cook Cheers mate. Depends where I'm going, it's hard leaving the car somewhere but just got to hope no one does anything bad to it.

    Yep the banshee is a ripper for the price. Found mine to have a fair bit of condensation. Do u use a fly also

    • @tonygillahan
      @tonygillahan  7 лет назад

      Joe Carnevale nah no fly. If I'm in it by myself condensation is a minor issue, but with 2 people and a dog we had zero condensation 👍

    Another ripper video mate. Keen on the Vango Banshee 200, how do you go with two people in it? Looks like a great tent, have heard the poles can be a wee bit flimsy though. How do you rate it? Cheers

      @tonygillahan  7 лет назад +1

      Osman Ozkara no issues to date mate! 2 people is fine, not a stack of room but enough to serve as a shelter for 2 people.
