Thanks Kerry. I am introduced to so many interesting and exiting home options watching your channel. Really appreciate the effort and professionalism involved.
It’s not that I don’t have the know-how & experience, it’s that I don’t have the body anymore. So I’d be looking at costs of contracting, do like the looks but I need handicap accessible accommodations such as a lift not stairs or ladders and floor/entry design for wheeling around in. The problem is always true, it’s also true living in a small footprint place is hugely positive for my self sufficiency too. Thank you for bringing up all the options as you find them!
These huts certainly have the back country look. Since I can't drive a nail straight, I would need the maximum assistance. Look forward to your unique finds each week. 🤩
....Ken Shamrock..lol!! Love your channel AND ALLL the new and different options available . Super informative and also enjoyable. Your voice is actually soothing 😳. Keep it coming!!!
The most sensible kit I have seen. The pricing and vacuum of included items seems insane. In 1983 I purchased a decked out much nicer double wide for $20,000. installed on a remote property.
👍👍👍 Thanks Kerry! And no, I could not build one of these. For one thing, I can't measure anything correctly to save my life. Hope everyone is having a great day! ❤️🌵☀️⛈️🌈☮️🐎
Knowing my skill at being able to build something, this concept went over my head. The costs not included in the base price could double the price when all is said and done. Thank you for presenting yet another option. I am sure those individuals more adept at constructing thing would see this as a wonderful opportunity to display their skills.
These are awesome. I love this shape. Living in a hurricane prone area, strength is a major issue as is the ability to raise the structure to avoid flooding.. I tend to like steel more but these seem to be well built. Wish they had a more centrally located plant but the starting price is reasonable.
Stick built would be about the same price. That’s what’s crazy. I can get a builder ti do $200 per sqft and the permitting would be simpler. Higher resale as well. I love the concept but if I’m going to go with a system there has to be a benefit.
A wow on the 02. WOW. For Me , I can build a Bacon Lettuce Tonato / BLT. But I go for someone or team doing the work ! Then move in when done ! So not a DIY kinda Guy ! By the way. Can you check out. ? North Star Out of Minnesota. Think I saw affordable cabin ottage ? Thanks Kerry
I love the structures, i get plenty of ideas, i need more money! Affordable is subjective of course, location is as well. Im old, wish i had wanted to build a kit from Masaya a 1000 years ago. Wish i would have seen your hair a couple if years ago, i would be sharing nachos, looking out of one of those huge huge windows, at snow covered landscape running my fingers through those locks! There are positive aspects to all negative jokers.
i'd take a stab at assembling one of those. But as a professional builder i have access to the subs, intimate understanding of site prep, etc. Dunno if the average person could DIY something like this. They'd be better off hiring a general contractor to oversee it i.m.o.
I wish some of these companies would come to Florida! We have LOTS of wilderness, too, if that’s what people want, but these small structures are perfect for the coasts and our many, many lakeshores. We are certainly get hundreds of thousands of people from the west coast, and houses are being built like crazy here, but small ones like these….not so much.
The municipalities in FL may need to change zoning so that smaller homes can be built. Also, financing for smaller homes may not be available. These zoning and financing problems are common in many states.
I wish you would do a number of shows dedicated to areas of North America okay California that deal specifically with the laws and regulations that would accommodate or not accommodate all these buildings on your show because it always seems to come back to it in my mind yeah well could I put it in my state somewhere is the droning question because the housing crisis is so out of control thank you.
Kerry, do you have anywhere to see all the current companies servicing specific areas of the U.S.? Looking to make a move to AZ and wanted to compare companies from AZ or nearby if possible. Again, really enjoy your informative and entertaining 😂 approach to all the new cool stuff out there!! Thanks!
Hey David, I don't know if what you're talking about exists. It would be very handy though. thanks for watching, glad to hear you're enjoying the videos.
Myself I have the skills to put one of these together, but due to age and injuries my body would say NO! Hey Kerry it sounds like you might be around the Surrey or Ladner area. I use to live in Blaine... small world isn't it?
I last took a woodworking course when I was in school at 10 years old. I could probably handle the A frame with some really loyal friends and possible the next higher up model and we probably wouldn't be through in a week. But to be honest is ould want a pro to come in to review items or assist.
Really liking the 0-One. Right up there with the Koda Loft Extended. Price seems about right, but I'm sure land prep and set-up will eat up a lot of budget. Checking out their website now.
The former employee of Elon Musk’s SpaceX is the founder of startup Cloud Apartments, which has a patented design for contemporary, cool-looking apartment modules and snap-together construction. The young company, based in San Francisco’s Bay Area, has received state approvals and they are working on a San Jose, Calif., site to erect a six-storey, 205-unit apartment building over a concrete podium, made up of “tech’d out” studios and one- and two-bedroom units. He has four other deals underway with developers, totalling 1,000 units in the Bay Area. Because off-site, factory-built modular construction is generally much faster than conventional on-site construction, he says the units will be more affordable due to savings of around 30 per cent.
If this company was legit and they actually had products then people would actually buy them and they would not need con artists like you to shill people to give them money for a blueprint and a bunch of other gibberish about builders and building codes to put together their Lego set that does not even exist until they pay for it the whole thing is a sham they can just go to some local place and look at a physical built building and decide whether or not they want to purchase that and then buy the kit put it in their vehicle take it to their property and put it together or chances are they could probably build a cabin with about as much skill as it probably takes to put together that Lego kit by the multiple builders that you suggest it will take and planning permits and everything that a cabin would take also
Nasty. Notice the number of subscribers? Those are people specifically looking for prefab/ small/tiny home options, designs, etc. He's not SELLING anything, he's educating us on options, and we're here for it. Why are YOU here exactly, other than to toss around unfounded insults?

Haha you and me both
Yea. I don’t have any elbow grease
@Preserve Homestead and half a dozen different size Allen keys 🤣

Haha! I struggle with that too 😂
“I can’t build much more than a ham sandwich”
That makes two of us. 😁 This was an especially witty video. Love it. 😎
Thanks Billy!
He has wit , humor and is entertaining !
As long as the instructions are a bit clearer than the Ikea furniture instructions I'm pretty sure I could get the job done.
Haha good point
This the best video I’ve seen from Kerry that I’m very invested in.
Glad to hear! Thanks
Must be getting cold up in Canada, Ellen nixed the black T for the purple hoodie. Thanks for the video sweetheart, keep'em coming.

System 2 is my favorite as well.

These are gorgeous! If I won the lottery, it would be great for a getaway home.
100%

Interesting designs. 👍
Agreed, thanks for watching Dale
Pretty cool indeed, and the models seem to be reasonably priced! Too bad for that "guy" with that beauty sitting on his private island! Geez!

I should take number 3
Sounds good!
What is the value proposition based on the pricing that you quoted?
If you are showing 3-4 homes I’d like a price after each home and then comparing them at the end with the prices.
Thank you for the feedback!

Rustic, need one by the lake but I currently live about 20mns away from the beach in the Caribbean, sight. Not bad price point either.
Sounds awesome 🌴

It would be awesome if you get to visit them and give us your option.
I would get a local contractor for the septic, hookups and foundation. Then find a skilled collaborator to work with on the rest.
Good plan
Have you ever heard of Eclipse tiny homes? They are supposed to build the best eco-friendly homes in the industry. Are they?
Will check them out!
@@KerryTarnow thank you I really appreciate that.
Ex spen seeola! YIKEA
No can do. The 2 larger models would take 2 people at least. And very strong hands and backs at the very least , with power tool skills .
Same price as building a laneway home from scratch….and this is prefab. Expensive
Thank you for the feedback

Kerry get to the effin’ POINT. Price per sq ft. It’s like looking at a travel magazine …. Can I go?
Thank you for the feedback
A to Z.
Haha
I could build one! But it wouldn't look Nothing like this. Lol
Haha neither would mine 😂
Dude get a better microphone lol, you sound like the teacher in Charlie Brown. Nice video thanks
