I feel like the people of this game's world are both brilliant and stupid at the same time, because they need to break their legs in order to crawl through low spaces.

At the end, an unknown character says “...just be careful around stairs.” This proves that, somehow, he can’t bend his knees or something along those lines. He can’t climb up anything without jumping

I dont think it's his femur splitting.
The femur isnt the main bone associated associated with jumping, that's actually the ankle, but if we're talking long bones, it's prob the tibia and fibula that are feeling it most.

Hi, Cave Johnson here, welcome to Aperture science, where you, bronze winning athlete, astronaut, etc., will be subject to painful testing. I know. Thrilling. Anywho, at the moment a few tests are out of commission, so you will be testing the Combustion Powered Aperture Locomotive and Propulsion limb implants. The eggheads downstairs call them CP-ALPs. Basically imagine rockets, right? Grafted into and or onto your legs. That is what you will be testing here shortly.
As you take a quick look you may notice the very workings of the implant coming out of your legs like you just tricked out your whip. Yeah, looks disgusting, that's what I said. But don't worry, I love seeing the grotesque struggle.
Now, something to note about those implants. When I pitched the idea, the eggheads said "oh, well, you need to provide proper stress or tension relief, so the test subject doesn't get their femur blown straight into their sternum from the thrust of these jets". You wanna know what I said? I said it would make for a good challenge. Who needs legs? Legs are overrated!
So here's what I have planned. You see a platform you need to reach? Well each implant is activated by its own glove so you can break your legs accordingly. So if you ever need to reach a high place, just shatter your leg with a force equal to ten sticks of dynamite, and you'll be fine. Run out of leg to break? Just crawl.
The point of these tests is to figure out how many times it is physically possible to escape a room by only breaking your own legs, as well as testing the resolve and will to live in those who have to constantly shatter their legs and let their body limply land where they hope to end up, before they eventually, or never, reach the end of our rigorous testing. At the end of each room there will be a Structural Rejuvenation Grid. This will revert any and all damage done to your skeleton, but keep in mind, it is just as painful as the initial moment of retaining said injury. This is Cave Johnson, signing off.

I find it so interesting how you played this game, so cautiously. Normally when I play puzzle games I throw caution to the wind and try whatever comes to mind. There's no indication how many lives you have, so I would die constantly and get a kick out of it considering the levels are so small

For anyone curious, this game kinda sucks, some of the later puzzles require pixel perfect jumps, so you already have the puzzle solved in your head you just have to do these super hard jumps to actually finish a level.
Even so, the idea is kinda genius. You cant tell me anyone had evrr thought of this game before without lying to me
@@Terumimi I dont think a game is genius just for making puzzles based around only jumping twice. Theres plenty of games on Newgrounds that are far more creative. Go play "The company of myself". It controls well and has a good story too

This is like Deku from BNHA, breaking a limb every time he uses his quirk with it but having tremendous power when using it.
In 6th grade, I watched a documentary that said that if Mario was a real person, he’d break both of his legs with a single jump. This game makes that concept real. I love it.
