I'm a Beatles fan and admit that I don't usually like covers of their work. However, this man took what I have always believed to be The Beatles' best and most pure song, and he has added a new depth and poignancy to it. Thank you for posting this, because this version always brings a lump to my throat.

It gives me a lump in my throat, too, and brings tears to my eyes. Someone once said, imagine having Sean Connery, James Earl Jones and Morgan Freeman on a talk show together. What a collection of wonderful voices that would have been. Too late now, but it would have been worth listening to and watching. RIP Sir Sean. At least I can watch The Hunt for Red October and The Name of the Rose to hear you again. ❤

If there was a beloved actor in my country Argentina, it was undoubtedly Sean Connery. You will be gone, but you will never, never be forgotten, in Argentina we will always remember you.
The man who would be king ..what a film .What a performance. Sad to say we are losing the greats to age , but the memories will never be erased .

That one, was Sean Connery. He has left us, and this time for real and for certain. His role in Highlander as Connor MacLeod's mentor was my absolute favorite of his many stellar performances. He was perfectly cast in that role, just as he was perfectly cast as James Bond. I have loved and admired him since the mid '60s.
Fare well, Sir Sean. It is an understatement to say you will be greatly missed.
