You can't intervene with an abuser without risk to yourself and children. It's better to film abuse and have proof. Abusers will always deny abuse. Filming is the only hope for justice, otherwise it's he said she said.

THIS IS MY DAUGHTERS STORY! We just found out she's been physically and mentally abused by her husband the past 4 yrs and he has had their girls, 10, 7 and 6 months talken away from her. DFS tested him for drugs he's positive for Meth and HE GETS THE KIDS!! ??? 🤬🤬 Lord help us as we now fight for her and her 3 daughters 🙏 But this story ....😢😢😢😢 My 30 yr old daughter is fighting for the strength to keep going, WHAT DO I DO????😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

He ex was a psycho who destroyed her. It was more important he destroy her than let his daughters see their educated, smart, dedicated mother. This is one of the worst stories I have read of late.
I’ve read the court transcripts for this entire case the past week for hours a day. It’s just so amazing the DEPTH of the corruption happening with literally everyone working on the case in support of the monied person and hidden professional ties with one another. It was like reading a manuscript for a movie. Forensic Evaluators, therapists, judge, assigned attorney for children- all these people worked to kick her out of her house and render her homeless twice, remove parental rights and contact, hit her relentlessly with one TOP after the other in which Allan would email her wives employers and inform her boss which resulted in her getting fired (soon after the TOP was dismissed) were ALL dismissed and dropped, however, the damage was already done.
All the charges and TOPs these people made against Catherine - that ultimately ruined her life and render her jobless, homeless, and childless - were ALL eventually dropped when a new Judge was appointed. Everyone who was responsible for Catherine’s legal outcomes and later removed from case:
-the Judge: He has a “bias conflict of interest” and unethical clauses. Dr Abram, the forensic custody evaluator on Catherine’s case, was good friends with the judge who officiated DR Abrams wedding during Catherine’s case. Catherine accused him on bias and reported evidence citing “strong support for his recusal” which soon after Judge Lubell recused himself.
-Carol Most: Catherine went after the court-appointed attorney for the children, Ms Most, alleging unethical conduct. Most was removed from the case for misconduct, is now under investigation, and denied $113,000 of her $270,000 invoice for “services” on behalf of the children. She also hired an assistant to the DA to her firm in transaction to the ADA role supporting Allan’s case while withholding their relationship and thus cause for conflict of interest. Her associated was Dr Marc Abrams
-Dr Abrams: through Catherine’s efforts, Panel of Forensic Custody Evaluators removed Dr Allan due to gross misconduct, unethical practices, and inappropriate sexual questions and sexual harassment from prior custody interviewees. A woman who is suing Dr Allan for sexual harassment was being represented by Allan’s attorney , Gus, who said he’d her stop representing her case or sign detailed contract in things she’d have to agree upon as Dr Abram was critical support Gus used for Allan’s case.
-Most selected Dr Susan Adler and Carolyn McGuffog, both PsyDs, as the children’s new therapists at $600 and $450/hour, respectively. The therapists let Allan sit in on the sessions. Catherine sued Dr. Adler in Westchester County on the grounds of fraudulent inducement.
-Dr Alder :Catherine Kassenoff commenced a professional malpractice action against Dr. Susan Adler in the New York State. This was from Alders treatment of Catherine’s

Catherine went from having a short amount of parental visitation with her kids, to “therapeutic supervision” of a psychiatrist (which cost Catherine $2,500 a week!) chosen by Allen to monitor 30 minute parent visitations with her kids over Zoom, to then eventually providing her with no contact (including via email or text) with the addition of one-mile restraining order from which Catherine had to be from the families house and children’s school. This resulted in her being homeless for a second time. She was given a 30 min notice
She is not the first. I hope things change , cameras and advocates in the courtroom please.
I’ve been there. Had the same experience… lies , corruption and incompetence all the way around the family court system! Switched lawyer’s multiple times, not by choice. Grimy , inconsistent, ethically bankrupt dss workers. It’s a heavy, heartbreaking situation. The whole system needs a renewal. Just as unfair as the prison system, or rehabilitation programs! It’s all shot.

Having experienced similar; there is an understanding among people that courts always side with the moms. But they fail to see how many ab*sers and money seeking doctors have made a system where they profit financially from the dismantling of a family. False equivalency of parental alienation where a parent is actually being violent like we see here. So because of this prevalent misconceptions about family court; when things like this happen-people don’t believe or know what to do. It’s awful. Even banfield was like “it’s really hard to lose custody so she must of really done something “ how invalidating
One thing you are not telling your audience is that this woman had terminal cancer, her 4th or 5th time with it, and she was getting pit through this. She was even denied a chance to say goodbye to her children. So are you working for her ex? Seems like it.
thank you they did no homework. they interviewed the man who put the videos up for us all but didnt bother watcing them all and just happen to leave out her cancer and why she couldnt really fight him while he was acting that way smh.

I feel like News nation could have done more investigative work prior to this story because she was not arrested. Allan tried to have her arrested but the police said she wasn’t doing anything wrong.
That happened once however another time he called the police on her, I arrested her outside of her apartment on her way to her car.
She was arrested, but it's irresponsible as a lawyer and journalist to omit the fact that all the charges were dropped until AFTER you've already questioned her character.
Women in abusive situations lose custody ALL THE TIME and are left with nothing. Abusers are good actors and have all the money. People need to look into narcissistic abuse. The information is out there. No excuses.
The ignorance in this is disgusting. The mother was filming because no one believed her, not because she was selfish. How's she supposed to stop an abuser who has control over the situation? The problem is willful ignorance, and it kills. The longer people remain ignorant, the more lives will be lost.
The media should know what they're talking about and cover stories responsibly before hopping on the wake of trending news for views, this was an embarrassing disaster.

Yes it can happen it happened to me my children are all adults now we went through hell their father use the chords to Friend of Court Social Services with lies and they believe them he is now deceased thank God and we're all still picking up the pieces from what happened to my children

Well it turns out that Catherine was herself abuse. She went through 18 attorneys and 6 nannies testified against HER. Read the lawsuit complaint
I've watched the videos... clearly this "father and husband" was extremely abusive. Funny how this panel is trying to be moderate while Crowder was persecuted in the court of public opinion for a somewhat normal marital fight. JS.
Um I wouldn’t call Crowders case anything close to a ‘normal’ marital argument. It was straight abuse of a 9 months pregnant woman. He’s a sad, weak excuse of a man.

Well if the system would protect people from abusers in the first place, there would be no need for this kind of family court. Abusers should lose all rights to family and have to pay all court fees easy as that. Stop being easy on abusers. That's where it all starts.

My case was 16 mo long w my teenage granddaughter .. I not one time got to speak in court, submit ( absolute undeniable proof of the lies) evidence or say one single word. I went last Monday to close the case and they all went in the courtroom and closed the case without me then when my public pretender came out of the courtroom and saw me she said " what are you doing here?" Duh, I just hang out in court hallways smh . I was deliberately silenced because they wanted to leave that case open they can suck in the funding ps they put in court documents that I didn't appear!! I was there 30-40 mins early!!

This is unbelievable. Tone deaf. None of you understand abuse, at all. Shame on you all. Abuse is about an imbalance of power. When abusers are worried about being exposed, they will do WHATEVER it takes with HOW EVER MUCH IT COSTS to take the victim down. What a disservice you have done with your platform. Are you really criticizing her for filming? What would you do if everything you said was minimized and brushed aside? Focusing on her reactions to abuse is exactly what abusers count on. Textbook. Anger and doing things you would not normally do (getting arrested) are normal REACTIONS to abuse. My heart honestly skipped a beat when I listened to this. We have a long way to go. Her legacy? You aren't equipped.

Who follows their husband around with a camera in his own home?!?!? I'd go crazy too. Catherine allegedly had several restraining orders against her and 4 judges who presided over the custody battles and the courts gave sole custody to the father while she was still alive. There's a reason women lose custody over their children. I dated a mentally ill person for over 10 years, they send you crazy, they break you! We saw Allen at his worst, broken and exhausted. I wish Allen and his kids well.

If your hudsband is abusive you follow him with camera.... you wouldnt know till you actually in same situation. Easy for some fkng people to say, but its hard on the indivudual who is being abused.

I have been a lawyer for 25 years and I will never set foot inside Family Court again. There were threats to my life and the opposing parent was mentally deranged. It’s not the courts, it’s the people, who are going through a traumatic event called divorce.
Same as saying "It's the guns that kill people, not the people". Of course, it's the people, but we expect a justice system (Not just a system) to be operating within these courts.

I think she had issues hence why she lost custody. There's vids of him snapping at her and saying he hates her but its far from abuse, just a frustrated man stuck living in a house with a wife he'd grown to hate while the divorce is going on and him showing that frustration. She's one of these borderline personality types that claims all sorts of things are abuse in what I have seen so far, he's no saint, but she had issues.
