I love the base WHR-6R. Used in TT setting, had an ammo explosion, both side torsos blown off, pilot knocked out up to the last injury box, and Mech toppled. Rolled to recover my pilot, was able to stand on first attempt, and thus was a walking stick that enabled me to call spotter on a retreating Nova to pick it off with another Mech dropping LRMs on it.
Might have been worth mentioning it was a response to the Federated Suns' BattleAxe and Hammerhands, eventually supplanting those designs even in Davion service.
I like to replace the PPC's with Snubs, freeing 2 tons for armor, the MG's with another pair of Small Lasers, the MG ammo with a Heat Bank, and the SRM6 & ammo for 4 Jump Jets, and upgrade Heat Sinks to Doubles(when possible). I call this variant "Mjolnir".
An absolutely iconic "Mech. I found an old, used, lead casting Warhammer on eBay, and stripped it, restored it, and painted it as "Black Lady", the personal Warhammer of Captain Natasha Kerensky. I also acquired a plastic Destroid from Palladium's "Robotech Tactics" set to have a more-detailed "Black Lady", and I should soon have in-hand a new Catalyst Warhammer.
Solid mech. The Davion variant that drops the ammo weapons and up armors is one of the best. The Warhammer hits hard, I can't imagine an assault lance without one.
I still believe that variant is mislabeled. Those cradel robbing hillybillies would not understand something as complex as a Hammer and would never give up on something that throws projectiles. Most likely they stole the plans from Steiner as well ;)
But yes, the all energy variant is a monster in 3025 play. Lots of heat sinks, good armor and heavy punch. Few mechs under 85to that can stand up to it outside urban combat

The 4 heavy designs were known in Macross and Robotech as "Destroids", In those story lines emphasis was on the lights, the Wasp, Stinger, the Crusader (medium) while the antagonist used what was known in battletech as the "Ostroc" and "Ostsoc MKII" design of "battle pods, The Marauder was usually depicted as a command mech for those units. Everyone else was playing their mech of the day, I knew the Warhammer better, every engagement. Pretty soon, my opponents were dreading seeing the pair of dark Warhammers.
A good solid front line mech, tough and loaded with heavy firepower, capable of incinerating anything that stands against it. Just has the annoying tendency to run hot if you get too carried away with discharging its energy weapons. I would definitely say that the Warhammer is the grandfather of the Hellbringer, as they have a similar appearance and basic weapon configuration. Only difference is that the Hellbringer is omni-capable, lighter, more agile and faster, but much more fragile.

In fact I start shooting SRM every round I can even long shots and will dump the ammo if it's looking iffy. Then back to smashing. This mech has little real weakness, long game, short range, armor, mech, battle armor and infanty can all be dealt with. Speed is on par with most of the 50+ ton mechs. Jump jets would be it's only short fall but can't win it all. This icon is really what they mean when they say mechs rule the battlefield undesputed in the 31st century. Thanks for the vid sir.
You're welcome, good sir.
The warhammer mech is on its way
WARHAMMER 2 C COMES!
is it just me or is it a modified tomahawk destroid from macross?
Can't say I'm that familiar with that franchise.
The 2 IPs were both sold the same art
Back in ye olden days the Warhammer was the 'mech that put hair on your lip, even if you were a guy!!!!
My first mech still love it . I tried killing that b**** kerinsky on talks iv in the drakonis combine with a variation of the AS 7 atlas that I moded over to the warmaster class but she managed to get away.
why did you still unseen imagery, when you could have used either MWO stills or Reseen imagery for the designs used before Project Phoenix? Its far better to help distance the IP from Macross designs BY NOT USING macross designs as part of your series (the only flaw I see, for the record)
You know of any repository of such artwork that i could use? The stuff i use is from Sarna and maybe some pictures of minis off the internet. I've also started using MWO pictures for some variants.
Jacked one of these babies from a unfortunate Black Inferno pilot!
Warhammer cost 6,070,984 C-bills
Ah yes the mech that started it all, the greatest one of them, no joke here, we all love it and want one, be it in-game, toy, board game piece or card, we do, it was on the cover of the books, game manual and gaming magazines,
Get one slap 2 Extended Range Particle Projector Cannon or 2 Extended Range Large Laser on each hand separately, 4 or 2 light lasers and or 2 medium lasers for the chest, or 1 heavy Mg and HE missile rounds and I can wreck even an Atlas, yes I once took on and lived to tell the tale boys and girls!
BUUUUUT the Clan just had to something heretical to my boy! NEVER FORGIVE NOR FORGET, UNITED UNDER THE BANNER OF THE STARS!
But for real I have a very hard time trying to play the online game in mine each and single every time, when I am minding my own business, some light mech rocket jumps in front of me and I just end up shooting them and get flagged for team killing!
Talos 4
I'll give you 40$ to go over the KGC family, boss.
You're serious about that? I can do a video about the King Crab. What others are in its family?
@@GrimDarkNarrator Well, there's the King Crab (Designate KGC-XXX), the Crab (Similar design, made by the same company; could be argued it's a precursor to the KGC, designate CRB-XX), and the Clan-tech Supernova, a stripped down 2nd line made from KGCs they couldn't maintain.
If you're covering BattleTech, I'd appreciate seeing my favorite city-killer get some love.
@@Mr.Mosquito89 For that donation, you can consider those Mechs covered. It'll only be next week that you get to see the crab or king crab though.
Delivered the Crab yesterday and King Crab coming next week. Hope that donation is still a thing :)
@@GrimDarkNarrator You got a paypal or sommat like? Patreon doesn't have one-off payment options, and I don't back out of my debts so easy.
14 DAYS!
Until what?
@@dubuyajay9964 UNTIL THE WARHAMMER IIC DRRRRRROPS!!!
@@floridaman3823 Drops where?
@@dubuyajay9964 DROPS ON THE MWO SERVERS! ALL PRAISES TO THE OMNISSIAH!!

Have you tried logging into patreon first ? that happens to me too before i realised it.
You sound like you’re a trade federation guy
I wish. I'd be rich too, if that were the case.
I'm sorry man. I've tried so hard. I love the fact that you're delving so deep into the lure but I can't handle listening to you. It's really hard. I know you're trying and I give you a lot of respect for trying. Keep it up
No worries. I'm sorry as well.
