After listening to this interview, It is a miracle only 3 people died at that hell hole place.
I was thinking this too because this could have been way worse. I didn't realize this ordeal was a back and forth for hours. Imagine too the brainwashed people who still wanted to get in after seeing blood spill on the inside that was _supposed_ to be safe.

My theory is that when he was a child, he felt rejected from the church and so when he got older, he went back to lead the church. It was his way of telling his self that he was accepted. Mr Smith is suffering from a neurological/psychological disorder. Mr. Smith studies psychology at the highest level. Therefore he was using hypnosis at a conscious or subconscious level.
