Story
An ancient Hindu ruler ordered the construction of a massive Palace in honor of Yama, God of Death, deep underground. This ruler also wished to remain there upon death, and has been resting there for centuries along his great riches. There is a legend about a magical Ruby being on this palace, which supposedly was blessed by Yama itself. Lara learns about this legend and decides to make a dangerous trip to this palace…
It's sad to see CCC competition has been called off due to insufficient participants. Now we can play CCC levels earlier than initially planned. It's soooo good to see another adventure brought by Danath. The Cave part may not feel something special, but when you enter the main area of the cave. It will definitely shocks you for sure. It's so brilliantly built. Never thought I can see such beautiful structure (The Palace) like this in TR1. Worth a play, and mind blown. Good for Danath 😄

Yama Raja in the Hindu Mythology,if i remember well, is the God of the Underworld. The level design fits nicely to the concept.
Oh, I really liked this one! Very true to the classic TR vibe with the tough platforming and traps, and just the right blend of old and new assets. It feels like it would fit right in as a bonus level from the original game. As always, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the kind words. I like how this game gave out decent difficulty. I think with enough experience, everyone is able to play this one without potential frustrations 😅
Music is so atmospheric
Another Tomb Raider 1 level with the intresting, darker aesthetics. Looks like it was made by the same creator as the last video, and its good. Like a more mature upgrade from the original. Definetly like to see more levels made in this sort of style. A nice dark forest with caves, rain and old ruins or snowy mountain ruins. Thanks for putting up this video so soon ❤

Like I said before, my friend you did a hell of a lot better than another RUclipsrs who did this play-through! I like it when they add more levels to the TR1 game! It makes Tomb Raider 1 a lot more interesting to watch and I wish these play-throughs were so much longer, like at least 4, or 5, or at the very most 6 hours! You always come up with so many good ideas when it comes to doing Tomb Raider play-throughs and so do they and this level was very well put together! I love this a lot! Great video, Steven! You need to give yourself more credit!

Its insanely amazing seeing this awesome community make new levels on TR1 and other versions to where I've been so used to the PS1 n briefly saturn version with limited draw distance n smaller areas, these fan levels are just insanely beautiful to see and also super amazing to see professionals do these jumps that do trick the casual player as key to progressing the level or find a secret.

@@graygarrison2692 tweak your brightness as much as possible. Don't expect me to adjust the overall brightness cuz it's definitely looking overexposed for sure 🙂
TR1 (maybe also 2) and this custom level has a.....tidy visual, everything looks distinguishable and clear/tidy. Those cave/rock textures look solid and are made under universal art style. I can't say the same for TR3, which is a total mess IMHO. I tried to revisit TR3 recently and that india level alone made my eyes bleed.
Yeah I heard some others said about the textures in TR3 are making eyes bleeding. Some are really not as good as TR2 and TR1. yeah I agree with this 😮

Incredibly beautiful and picturesque level. I loved the exterior architecture of the Palace but overall the whole level is aesthetically fantastic. I have only two questions....
1) The note found in the underground area that mentions "do not disturb the dead", what is it alluding to? Is there some kind of trap not shown in the Walkthrough?
2) Was the boss at the end of the level, Yama himself or the ruler who built the palace, mentioned in the level description? Not that it particularly matters, eh....just curiosity.
The note refers to the death tiles that burn Lara to death. In that part, if Lara walks on the wrong tile and she dies, which means you've woken the dead 😅.
And the boss I don't think that's Yama himself. Perhaps it's the Hindi ruler who built for in honor of Yama according to the story. Perhaps the "dead" himself 🤔
I did this level🎉🎉🎉👏🏻 nice level👍🏻💯 For the other part I'm blocked in second unholy plaque in eternal darkness but I'm sure I hope pass it soon😵
The entire level is not easy at all 🤣 especially you have to go straight down and up again in that level. Third one is way more harder for me 😅

Well Square Enix no longer have the trademark of Tomb Raider. However, I think it's Crystal Dynamic who owns it nowadays. I have no clue on what's their next move. Either taking Lara back or adding another irrevelant characters into this franchaise , hope they choose their next move wisely 😅
