Story
Lara wakes up in an old abandoned spooky mansion. Is it real or is she having a nightmare? Lara's heartbeat rises as she slowly gets up and desperately tries to find a way out of this haunted place. Can Lara escape from this mansion before her worst fears take away her life?
It's been few years since the snowy glacier has released. Now the author has brought us another wonderful adventure. The some part of the level really reminds me of Cape Fear. You have to be very cautious about every steps. If one fail, it will cause death. I can recommend people to play this, which is worthy to given a try :D

I really really wish a company would create more of these Tomb Raider classic games in this exact style, same polygons etc. The gameplay is simple and satisfying and totally engaging

@@stevenPCGaming only a remake so far as OpenLara is a remake. That is fantastic, smooth, beautifully enhanced but still retaining the original look, just improving on it
What about Nicobass remake? I think it's also a good one.
@@stevenPCGaming I've just checked that one out, I didn't know about it. It looks amazing obviously but they've gone for the more realistic 3D CGI Lara where as I prefer the polygon look like Open Lara
Yes and every gamer agrees. I hate the modern Reboot of Tomb Raider by Sqare-Enix. They can't even make final fantasy any more.

Every official games have their own features. This custom level provided the scary, empty, dark, mysterious vibes. I guess that's why people really love this so much 👍😀
opera house's background music is definitely the best
it's quite fit most of the environment
1:02, how is the player even supposed to know that's there?
When you see the lever and the crack clearly, you can try to jump to the same side of the wall to see if Lara will grab it or not 😉
Late reply, but I said the same thing. That's terrible conveyance, no sensible person would try to see if they could climb a solid wall when they are put in that situation. That's something someone does in desperation when all other options have lead to death or backtracking. Why not have it be just a regular crack in the wall? Soured the whole level for me right at the beginning.
I feel honored to be part of that little "Dxtre3D Hall of Fame". 😎😄 We made a nice, close sub-community. 🙂 Now TurboPascal's legacy will live on inside TombEditor.

Wow the last part in that graveyard and swamp area is so amazing. Proves how much you can do with limited technology. Even the original games didn't look as interesting as this one.
With more and more custom levels, I can see the original game is much easier. But it was back at the time then. 😊

How huge and complex is it? It's a masterpiece. It's too dark and claustrophobic for my taste, but on a technical basis, it's beyond my comprehension that someone did this as it was designed in the core design itself.

@@stevenPCGaming If i'm not mistaken, the enemies were modified by The Great Chi. He also made a modified enemy for my TR2 custom game, and 2 throwing weapons for other enemies. 😄

Cool level! I played TR2 on PS1 back in the day with the strategy guide. I was only a kid so it was tough, but very memorable. The older, quake-esque lowpoly graphics still appeal to me, maybe I'm just nostalgic but it has a cool aesthetic.

I tested this level in betatest phase. It really surprised me the "DxTre3d hall of fame" where I was honoured. It was a nice pleasure to be part of that gang of talented designers. Long live to Dxtre3d! Long live to classic games! 😁

@@stevenPCGaming yep, Feder and theWolf will switch to TE. Even, Feder already is working with it. Danath will take a rest after he finish his saga and he is thinking wheter to continue or not buiding levels and as respect for me, I have a lot of prototypes projects of 30% and 40% done with dxTre3d and I would like to finish one of them. 🤔
But the most possible,is that sooner or later everyone are working with TE.
Would you port your current project to TE? or still continue with DXTRE3D?
@@stevenPCGaming good question. I still can live with DxTRe3d, but you know, there is a lot of "try and error" when you build a level, so if it would bring me too much problems i switch to TE, which is more advanced and you don't need to discover what to do!
I already know that I'm going to really like this VIDEO, and I'm still wishing that I could be doing what you're doing!

I love the idea of this level! I think the only thing I thought about was the big skeletons (that sounded like Yetis) - wonder why that couldn't have been a werewolf type of enemy.
Otherwise, loved your gameplay of this, was enjoyable to watch.

I’ve been playing TR 1 to 3 for like 3 weeks now and watched someone playing 1 to AOD for a week as well.
Just got a mood suddenly and yeah been watching and playing myself and just having tonnes of fun.

I feel like this level has some conveyance issues. Lots of walls and blocks textured identical to everything else in the room that you just have to either "guess the developer's intention" or "just try the interact button on everything in the room after exhausting all other options." You can even see skips in the video that made me think the person doing the walkthrough was asking themselves "wtf was the solution to this crappy room again?"

I think you can start with Tomb Editor. You can create TR1- TR4 level with that editor. Just search the TRLE or Tomb Editor tutorial. I believe you can find more. If you need help from builders, you can access via my discord server :)

Secret 3/3 is a very clever trap! The player will be pleased to see the item and then likely die as they let their guard down… ☠

looks like this was a modified offshore rig because the way she wakes up.
also her guns are taken away so she would have to go to the airplane to get them.
That animation can be applied to most of the custom games now 😆
plot twist: she did not just find herself randomly knocked out at some abandoned building, she was just napping before the raiding

Cool design for the most part, I wish there was slightly less gray. but I don't like this level it's overloaded with death traps

Im really liking this level but a couple items were really hard for me to see. Like a movable block or a ladder wasnt the best. Otherwise it was a good level. I would love to see some shore rig themed levels too

I have an issue at 13:32. Suddenly, action key (ctrl) doesn't work, so I can't climb up this wall. I stuck.
OK, I did it! I pressed the down key the same time I made the jump.
It's normal in this case. What you gotta do is to hold "up" key and Action key to let her jump on her own. By doing so, she can reach the higher ledge that she normally can't. 😊
