honestly: there is no one who goes so much into every little detail of the language as you do. I appreciate that extra mile. it does wonders for my ability to really UNDERSTAND Japanese - instead of just recognising patterns. means: even if I know the stuff, I learn something new every time!
MEGUMIN!!!!!!!!! Say it. Say the thing...
@@guitarsaremyfriendzzz7077 I would rather explode!
I agree! Great lessons!
I totally agree!! She's such an amazing sensei! 😊❤
Very comfortable style of lesson. I am particularly impressed with the color coding system you use. It is very helpful in seeing the functions of particles in a sentence and the differences in layout between English sentence construction and Japanese.
It's also rather nice that you've got the Romaji version of the text on the screen, but have it de-emphasized in a faded grey so it is easy to ignore.
Agreed completely regarding the color codes. The sentence structure of Japanese is so different from English and the elements of the sentence are often reversed
Great teacher
Yes!!! I agree!! The color coding system/faded romaji is great!
I particular searched for your lesson on directions to understand it better from Genki 1. i dont know why people do a thumbs down
Thank you so much Misa-san
I'll be forever in your debt.
I wish you with all health and happiness you deserve and more
You know its a good teacher if they have 290 likes and 0 dislikes
off course, after you said that, some wise a** had to put a dislike. lol. That being said, another great lesson from the Master Japanese Sensei on RUclips.
You know what's funny, I have trouble understanding directions even in English, my native language!
I follow several Japanese (and Korean) instructional channels but Misa, you are the best! Thank you for everything
Your lessons are first class. Practical, understandable, and to the point.
Understanding, making and speaking sentences may be hard even when u memorize the words. But dont give up!!
Thank you for your lessons!!!
Honestly I love these lessons they're so helpful especially since you explain why you use certain words. Its also nice that you put the words on the screen along with their translations.
Kinda random but I think im gonna draw you as an anime girl cause your hair style kinda reminds me of an anime girl
Update: I did in fact draw her as an anime girl
@@boltzydog527 oo I wanna see!

YOU ARE LITERALLY THE BEST!!! Thank you so much sensei!!! You taught me so much in such a small time and helped me with my exam : D Thank you for putting SO MUCH effort in to your lessons!!!
Lol. In portuguese we say "Go this way all life" it seems universal
Vc é brasileiro? Eu sou kakakak
I'm Brazilian and I don't think I've ever heard it

the amount of work, effort and dedication in these videos is impressive. Thank you Misa sensei
Liked this video because “Peter Pan” was the name of the bread shop.
Yeah! That was clever!
Wow your explanations are very easy to understand and English is not even my native language, thank you very much I will stay a while on this channel.
ピーターパンはすてきなパン屋の名前ですね!
カンペキのパン屋の名前でしょう
(笑)🤣
先生、お疲れ様でした。今回もたのしかったです。
実は授業で使う地図は面白いと思うんですが。。。先生に良ければ、完全な地図を見せていただけないでしょうか。
Great and informative lesson. ありがとうございますみさ先生🍎
it was like a private lesson i appreciate it so much. ありがとう❤
This is incredible. 10 minutes in, and I completely understand what's happening! What an amazing teacher.
ありがとうございました!このビデオが本当に面白くて、大切ですね。When I visited Japan last year, I got really lost one day. I was rescued by two high school boys, one of which was deaf. I did not anticipate that kind of language barrier. lol
You are the Best teacher! I speak Japanese for a long, but in your videos i learn a lot more
The lessons for absolute beginners start with 01 and go up to 61 ! On the website JapanesAmmo.com they are grouped into different categories.
@@crigsbe thank you Sir
This is so thorough. I love that you teach several ways to say the directions and the subtitles in different colours break down the phrases. So helpful.
misa、you are such a wonderful teacher. not only do I learn Japanese from you, you actually help me get through the situation that I have no idea what I'm doing 🥺... watching you talk again and again help me feel better. thanks a lot
You deserve much more subscribers than you have now....you are doing an excellent job.
Love these! Such cute art
Thank you so much for the lesson!
So well explained
Need lots of practice with this one! Thank you Misa 先生
Ahh remembering good old beginner days. Love you Misa ♥️
I first saw your vids almost 3 years ago or maybe a bit longer. I would listen to them on my way to work. Now I'm back in school and preparing to go to Tokyo next spring (Hitotsubashi U) so I'm making a big push to get as close to fluent as possible, and there was something I didn't fully get in class today and there you are just like you were all those years ago. I wish you had another $50/mo slot open on Patreon so I could scoop that up so I could get the best help possible outside of my self and class studies before making a fool of myself in Japan. But I guess for now I'll just keep checking to see if one opens up and leave random likes on videos I use between now and next March.
ありがとうございました。
Great lecture.Thanks!
As a foreigner, I was asked multiple times for directions in cities that I lived. Haha its always a funny twist. Luckily it was always fairly simple directions because while I can speak Japanese and english, I do not speak directions. Haha I suck at giving directions in any language.
Hi Misa-sensei and every one of the Japanese learning community.
I have a question that may need a native speaker like you to help.
Is it a matter of the order of phrases using in a sentence?
For example:
(1) Please go ahead of me, I am busy now.
(2) I am busy now, please go ahead of me.
Does Japanese use/refer (1) or (2)?
In my own language (Vietnamese), we accept both.
Thank you for your help!
Love from Viet Nam.
I was just watching one of your videos when you uploaded this!
this video is extremely useful!!! ありがとうございます
Great video - as always.
This is really helpful. Thank you very much!
This was one of the best videos of the channel so far. Thank you Misa Sensei.
Such a detailed video. Don't know what I would learn without you! Arigatou :)
Thank you Misa-sensei for the lesson❤
Nice I was just thinking about how to give directions! 😁
Great content! 😍 you really bring me to the next level!
honestly great video!!
Really thanks for the Japanese lessons Misa.
When are you gonna talk about ていくand てくる?
I really want to know more details about them.
This comment doesn't fit well, because it is a themed video. Yet I wanted to say that I like the way your videos are structured. Like atm I'm a bit fed up on grammar videos (in a way that I prefer to rehearse them before moving on to the next ones), so the new videos I watch right now mostly are vocab videos and I like the way how you can mix different types of videos at different times without them being too hard or too easy. It always just fits somehow in a way, that you can learn something from them, no matter of how far advanced you might or might not be. If the grammar is easy there are vocabs and kanji to learn from a video, if the grammar is hard or new the vocabulary remains familiar, so there is something like a "comfort zone" in each of the videos. Which is kind of unsuspected, but welcoming, considering that most of the time it is: "Lesson 1, then lesson 2 and if you skipped 1, you won't get 2 and beyond right."
So I guess I just wanted to say that you're an extraordinary teacher and a great sensei.
Wanted to learn about directions so I searched and I got way more than I expected. Thanks so much, this video is phenomenally clear and helpful.
9:40 "where is the library?" que significa "no negocio con terroristas" XD
I loved this video really good lesson as always
Vc é br? Kkakakak eu sou
I'm too excited to learn some words today!!!! Let's goooooo
That's all わかりました。I love you 先生❤️
i remember reading the Miles Edgeworth manga and he and Detective Gumshoe were wandering around looking for a hospital. One of the 'translator notes' said trying to find a place based on vague knowledge of directions is a very Japanese thing to do. I always thought that was kinda interesting
You should sell this content. Your lessons are suuuper well done and I can tell you've put a lot of time into this. Your way of teaching is really good.
( But I really appreciate that it doesn't cost me anything! xD )
Biggest takeaways from this are that my lessons may have been wrong (didn't learn dono kurai, but dore kurai, for how long something would take) and asking where a barber shop is would probably lead me to a hospital (and vice-versa). Also, the acoustics of that room (mostly standing waves, cause by parallel surfaces) made it a bit difficult to understand what was said at certain points, while you were speaking Japanese, but lack of familiarity is partially responsible too
ほんとに素晴らしい先生❣️みさ先生いつも感謝しています‼️
Thanks
Thank you for this lesson sensei it's a big help for us learning japanese language..
Thank you so much I thought I'd know everything from this video but I learned some stuff!
Thank You Sensei Greetings from Malaysia
It's my 3rd day watching this video, misa, I finally finish it~ you are wonderful
Thanks Misa, really appreciate the time and effort spent on your lessons. Love your wonderful smile, I’ve never had a more pleasant teacher all my life and am an old fart. Seems Russian helps me understand certain things better like some omissions. I learned my three main languages as a teenager I wonder how long it’ll take me now. Worth a try
1:10 the fact that she inverted the video so that her right/left is also our right/left ❤
Another great video by misa :)))
ありがとございます先生❤❤
Very useful thank you.

Misa sensei always brings the goods and could explain really well. Thank you again! :) That someone would even click that dislike button is just mind-boggling.
I like your videos sensei!
Now I can finally play my Japanese copy of Burning Rangers without getting lost for 10 minutes 😎👌
I really like your haircut here! It's so cute and it suits you very well!
Amazing
Thank you Misa-sensei! The lesson is very useful and you explained it so well 😊 You are beautiful as always! Please always be our 13-year-old sensei! I'm glad you are still healthy!🥰

Really this channel is very helpful . Thank you so much beautiful lady
Thank you for your videos Misa! Do you think you could make some lessons on 尊敬語, 謙譲語 and 丁寧語?
I like your channel
みさ先生、please make a video of how to use the word たしかに in a sentence🙏
has anyone ever said that your english has a slightly british accent ? i really like it
Nobody cares
She lives in England I believe, so that makes sense.
Most people who live in non English speaking countries that learn English as a second language in school/university are taught British English, at least that I know of
Irrelevant!
It sounds Australian.
Stunning hairstyle
Misa sensei, could you make a video for KATA or the way of doing things
😁😄 Thank you
I got lost in that cute map 😂😂😂😂
best sensei
