I was honestly expecting her to debut in AEW to help Ruby Soho against TayJay, considering they teamed in Shimmer when Dakota was still Evie and Ruby was still Heidi Lovelace. It ended up going from TayJay vs. Ruby to Tay and Sammy vs. Ruby and Ortiz, so maybe Ruby/Dakota vs. TayJay really was the initial plan and they had to adjust.
I know everything is scripted but, imagine saving someone’s career, getting her back to the biggest wrestling companies in the world and making her relevant, and after that, that same person that was again someone attacked you from behind backstabbing. (DK to Bayley)
