I tried to run this game, this is what happens:
Fails Dino skip ten times
Fails both Jaxi skip and the bullet bill moon right before the trash moon
Dies to Tall bunny in Lake before defeating it
Right before Soewart fight falls down twice.
THEN I reset

I didn't know you could dive into triple jump to skip the flower path, its a lot more consistent than the long jump or roll cancel, and it loses like half a second on roll cancel. Thanks for the pipe path too, that helped a ton

If you want to practice the maze skip without falling into Deep Woods, you can use Koopa Freerunning in a completed save, and press "+" to retry before you fall into it.
Just remember it’s a long jump into a cappy jump dive another cappy throw and dive
it so disturbing watching footage with no spin pounds now that I’ve actually gotten into this game.

I have been following along perfectly, except for when I fell into the deep woods. I have never been in that area before during my casual playthrough, I didn't even know it existed... Wish you included the walk to the nut you grabbed, as I had to look all over and the vine I planted put me WAY back near the start...

don't do it it saves 2 seconds, also get momentum and do short hops

If 7:40 Is Hard For You Go To The Left Wall And Do A Backflip Off The Edge Then Wall Jump After That You Will Be Hanging From The Ledge

When doing the flower skip I can’t spin Mario am I doing something wrong plz help I made it once but now it’s just basically not letting me :(
throwing cappy makes mario spin, so u have to throw cappy the way you see it in the video
On Flower Road Skip when I do the dive then triple jump it doesn’t give me enough distance and I just bonk on the corner of the wall but luckily I learned to instant roll cancel a couple weeks ago🙂

I cant seem to get the dive triple jump for flower road skip I go toi car every time any advice ?
Doing it with the dive method only saves like 1 second. I'd say just use the bridge until you're overall more comfortable with the general movement!

I feel like I have too much momentum to do flower skip. keep missing the rails of running into it. do you let lose with the easy strat after the dive jump?
I'm having trouble doing the flower skip; I always seem to either have too much momentum that I go over the railing, or I don't have enough to actually make the gap
You can experiment a bit where to do the dive. I walk straight downwards of the moon platform, so I have more space for the jumps and I am aligned perfectly with where I want to go.
Mario Odyssey is one of the most fun games to speedrun xd

You can also ground pound at the base of the waterfall

Even famous RUclipsrs screw it up a lot. If you are comfortable and confident, go for it, but it's hard.
I’d only recommend learning it when you have about a 1:10
