@@JamesEllis-qd1kp fair enough mate I’m just saying it’s not supposed to sound like that whatsoever lol eh if it works it works I have a old metal numatic nv250 from 1987 that’s nearly 40 going strong
@@Mr_D2_1004N Got my vote, screaming motor and I did ask if it sounded like this before it broke and the answer was "yes", I did recommend to the owner to invest in a filter to avoid overheating from the dust/debris clogging the internal fans as was the case when I pulled it apart which I suspect was the cause of the meltdown....or maybe the meltdown was from spinning at Mach 1, 2 or 3...LOL
Hi @benkinator , no idea of the screw size. I simply removed the screws in the unit and then put them back in the same locations in the re-assembly. Cheers James.
That motors knackered
LOL, maybe so, but still working as at June 2024, go figure.

@@JamesEllis-qd1kp yeah that’ll most likely be the case either that or the fan rubbing on the fan case which can happen sometimes
Great job. I just repaired my WD3. What kind of glue can be used so that can be disassembled again?
Hi, I used "PVC Pipe Cement", same product as used in general plumbing work for gluing non pressurised PVC pipework. Cheers, James
What is the screw size?
