- Letting go of your twin flame is an inside job. To let go of your twin flame says you are letting go of your resistance to change, rather than fight the feeling of losing control. Detaching on the other hand, allows you to surrender to the process and get out of the way, allowing your shadows to come to the light so you can transform your traumas, verses cut off a side of yourself by numbing your emotions or suppressing your feelings. Your twin flame represents your shadow self, pushing them away is running from yourself. Holding space and letting go is not giving up. You are just letting go of the outcome and aligning with your true self. The number of times I've seen people say not all tfs are meant to unite or how we should, as a social species with human 3d needs, be able to honestly and genuinely learn to be happy lonely (not alone). As if self love means humans who can't handle prolonged isolation, admit they're lonely, or haven't had company in a while lack it.
This might be controversial, but self love without support or validation from others can feel like survival mode. The idea that being the only person capable of loving you even remotely romantic (dont get me started on replacing with platonic love) is a sad life for me. Even if I genuinely love myself, I'd still feel lonely.

Yes right on time. Thank you. We’re married... and He loves me no doubt... he just can’t communicate nor show real affection and it angers me so much. It’s like he only understands one side of me and talks to one side of me. But the other side of me (spiritual side/ I’m a healer and seeer) is like a ghost to him he can’t show that side of me affection nor communicate. He’s very well versed in spirituality but it was taught to him. I don’t think he really understands the experience of spirituality so in a since his soul isn’t “awake”-- i HATE this about us. It’s been a bother to me for a long time i just keep repressing and repressing it but i can’t anymore because i am excelling spiritually (becoming a health coach and following my intuitive nudges to follow my path. becoming fully sober and letting go of my shadow aspects that don’t serve me. Or rather accepting /confronting my unhealthy shadows. 😔😩😔 I’m just tired of all of this. We love eachother so deeply but it’s just this one thing. And he doesn’t follow his passions like i do. I get so annoyed by all of that aspect. and it hurts me to even feel this way towards him 🥺 I’m just torn but i choose myself alllll the way. No matter what.
I can understand your pain... and i'm sure he is teaching you to let go and acceptance of him, which is acceptance of yourself... it is so hard to watch those that we love live in the darkness... YOU keep shining! blessings!

What it is is that I struggle to have faith in his love for me and also stay open to other beautiful connections. If I put my whole heart into this, and trust this, it takes up so much space inside me. He can do what he wants, it’s okay. I have no expectations of him and I require nothing, though I do love him. But I can’t just wait indefinitely for him to make a choice. I don’t think that’s fair to me. But I don’t know how to stay open to other experiences and hold onto trust of this at the same time.

I believe that TFs chose to do a lot of collective clearing of karma for sure and not for the weak! i understand that 25 year process same fore me... NOW is the time to be happy, but dont have to do that alone!

Anyway, he's very far away, in another country, on another continent.
We're still friends but with some limits.
I also realize that he has to do his own inner work alone (he told me: "don't give me advice, you'd better think about yourself", and he was right.
Period.
Btw do you have videos on shadow twins? Coming to terms with your twin possibly being a set up or with them choosing to exit the journey? I think all TFs need to face these hard truths.
