    Thank Josh. I was reading "the 400 must have words for the TOELF" and it was too much boring! This video is fantastic because you even explain if the word is normally used in science or biology. Amazing!

      Hello. I purchased your subscription and did reading and listening. I got in your website for reading 27 and listening 25. But yesterday I went to my official exam, unofficial score for reading was 20 and listening :14 😢 Why? I think they gave me hard reading passage.

      @@xalidselimov1803 First of all, I am sorry to hear about the difference in score, I am sure it is frustrating. Each individual student is different, so it's hard to know the reasons for your particular performance. If you do end up needing to retake the test, you may consider classes with a teacher to help you score.

    I just got my TOEFL score it was 113 / 120. I did not pay for any school nor program, I just did all your practice problems and listened to your advice. R 29 l 29 S 30 W 25. Thank you!

    I have never made a comment on YT before, but I really need to express my utter gratitude towards you. I had to do an emergency exam and I prepared for my TOEFL in one and a half days. I literally only saw your videos and did your practice exams. I got a 114. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to you sir. The way you explained every topic, the structures, everything.     Hey Josh! I came by to express my sincerest gratitude for your work and tremendous help. I got my scores back recently and I got a 106! Of all the recourses I came across, your videos and explanations were the most informative and valuable for me. I was the most nervous for speaking as I don’t have much experience in it, but got a 27/30!! I couldn’t have done it without you, thank you so much and keep it up!!

    I got less in reading and listening

    Hey Josh, i wanted to thank you for all these materials. i got 109 on my TOEFL exam (28R,30L,26S,25W).Although i had previous experience with such exam ( i had 7,5 IELTS before), i could not find any proper practise problems to prepare . You saved my skin :)

      @@bellooluwatobi4813 Of course , For the writing task one , please make sure to take notes accurately and mention all the points in the lecture , it's really useful to use a template , you don't have to come up with new ideas or topics , you just have to write what is stated in the lecture and the passage using the template, no need for extra complicated vocab , just make sure to write at least 280 words + little or no mistakes ( replace any word you're not sure of its spelling ) , so to sum this up - Mention all the points - Word count - use a good template with different contradictory words in each paragraph -revise and correct or change any complex vocab

      Use an introductory sentence with your opinion , add one more sentence of agreement or disagreement with the other two students , Mention a reason/ or example supporting your choice or opinion
      use connecting words or adjunctive ( however , so that , on the contrary , having said that , otherwise , in addition to ) something like that , revise and correct any errors or mistakes ( al least in 1-2) minutes

      you dont have to freak yourself out in order to mention all the details mentioned in the lecture or whatever , just make sure to keep talking , if you have extra time , make a conclusion , JUST DONT FREAK YOURSELF OUR TO MENTION ALL THE STATED INFORMATION , because this will make you stressed and rushing to say everything in very short time , just give an overview with an introduction to the topic followed by mentioned reasons/examples , followed by a conclusion if the time permits
      for speaking task 2 , i really think it's very useful to use a temp

    These words are pretty rudimentary, i know them all but i still have a fluctuating score, any approach please

      Thanks very much for your question. Yes, vocabulary questions are tough in the sense that either you know what the word means or you don’t. It is true sometimes you can figure out the answer by using context clues in the sentence, but this is not always the case. So I would say there is no best way to answer these questions. In general, read as much as you can in your free time and try to improve your general vocabulary.

    Hey Josh, I wanted to ask that although there are multiple, say two options correct, but why did we choose THE one only, like in the words; concept, domain. Its that it had two options correct, but why did we choose the one only?

      Thanks very much for your question. Unless the question tells you to pick two answers, you have to pick “the best” answer. There are some vocab words you could argue two answers are correct, but one will be “more correct, pick that one.

      @ Unfortunately not. I have just found out how weak I am in understanding complex reading structures. Besides I ran out of time and couldn’t answer last 2 questions. It also impacted my listening section as I got nervous at the first part. Though other 2 parts went well, I realized after the exam that my strategy was very bad. Now I can't apply for the upcoming fall session. I am feeling very upset. 🥲
