My husband and I (BRITISH TAX PAYERS), who have worked all our lives (untll the last 2 years where we have both suffered ill health in our late 50's) spent the whole of winter with NO HEATING and very little food, sometimes only eating hot food once a week. wearing nearly all the clothes we own just to keep warm. What annoys me the most is that my husband and I only needed to pay in 35 years of National Insurance contribution payment to get full state pension the extra 16 years we have payed in goes towards lazy people who haven't worked a day in their lives or to these illegal immigrants pensions, I dread to think after working for 51 years none stop how much tax we have paid into Britain too.

Over the past four years, Sunley Family Limited has paid its shareholders £5.5 million in dividends - of which at least £2.7 million has ended up in Panama and the British Virgin Islands, and is therefore not eligible for UK tax. Panama levies a 5% tax on dividends and the BVI 0%. Meanwhile the UK tax for dividends over £150,000 is 38%.
For the financial years 2014-2017, the company has paid £1.2 million in UK corporation tax on a profit of £15.7 million - an effective tax rate of 7.6%.

Pensioners and the disabled couldn’t afford to put their heating on in the cold weather and buy food as well. Someone managed to get into the foyer of one of the migrant hotels in winter and the heating and lighting were full on - I bet you many pensioners would like three meals a day, spending money, free phones, TV or wi fi and no worries. The majority of these pensioners worked all their lives paying into the system and yet we have the lowest pension rates in Europe. We have thousands of homeless on our streets (many through no fault of their own) and veterans who fought for this country and risked their lives fighting in the country this man actually comes from! This is an utter disgrace and as we sit here debating this in the current fine weather, hundreds are landing on our shores every single day, or escorted in by Border Force or the RNLI, some from French Waters ! Maybe it’s time the British Taxpayers go on Strike too, says enough is enough and stops paying council tax on mass until this fiasco is sorted out - period. Also why did Serco get a multimillion £ contract in 2020 to oversee asylum accommodation (WHICH RUNS FOR 10 YEARS!) if the government intended to control our borders and reduce immigration as they promised in Brexit?? We have the same problems as england, and many of all of us are furies that our goverment throws our good money for these people who come uninvites in our country and squander our hardly earned money which we had worked hard for. I live in a working class area, my little house is late victorian and most of my friends are foreign. They are my friends because I like them enormously, not because they are foreign! Life is so difficult now, I sympathise greatly with everyone who seeks a better life, BUT some people are getting a free ride, while hard working tax payers are ignored. France has declared war on these conditions - they've had enough - who will be next? I salute them, courage and respect!

Absolutely breathtaking their sheer audacity. It seems to show that the majority are as you say economic migrants as any genuine asylum seekers fleeing war and persecution would surely be extremely glad of anywhere safe to stay, rest their heads and be fed. The sense of entitlement is staggering, next they'll be demanding room service, masseuse spa treatments and different coloured towels.

    2 years on government assistance.
It costs the taxpayer approximately £4,300 per asylum seeker per month. The average monthly pay for an NHS nurse is £2,782, but some of her taxes pay for this illegal economic migrant who is a young male.
    Let that sink in.
    I’ll wait…

This is shocking and ridiculous. The same nonsense is happening here in the USA. No matter the country, the tax papers foot the bill many of whom live in undesirable lodgings. But none of them get free clothes, cell phones, food, laundry, utilities and medical care. Totally outrageous. Thanks for your sermon.

No. I'm on the Left. I agree with you. I emigrated from Britain twice, of my own free will and was responsible for finding work without ending up in destitution.
However... the Government have not processed his claim, for two years. So a scandalous waste of public money. But they could deport him, or register his claim, and then he is free to get a basic job in, let's say Burgerking as a cleaner, and reality will eventually hit him regarding rent and living style. The Tories are to blame!!

The problem is that if they process these applications and refuse them and tell them they have to go back to whence they came, they will just disappear and remain in the UK.
Mark my words, it won't be long before we are required to carry ID cards and will have to produce these to access all public services and to allow the police to identify those who should not be in the country in order to forcibly remove them.

We all know the lefty snivil service won't do as they're told but the Tories are supposed to be in charge, they have a massive majority and still they do nothing. We need to do what Australia did: take them all back to France and ignore the bleating outcries from the lefties.

Another subsidiary of the Sunley group, the estate management company Sunley Farms Limited, is 100% owned by Sunciera Holdings Corporation in Panama. According to documents obtained from the Land Registry, the company is the owner of the family estate, Godmersham Park, which was bought by Tice’s uncle John Sunley in 1983.
