Vietnam is one of the most incredible places in the world to travel. Especially in 2020. If you are into incredible and breathtaking scenic views and going on adventures you must do the HaGiang loop in northern Vietnam. This is by far one of the most epic and best travel destinations ever. Spending 5 days riding through the mountains, rice fields, and landscapes of Vietnam was absolutely incredible.
This was my first time riding a semi-automatic motorbike and was very easy to get used to. You can also do the ride on a fully automatic scooter.

One of the most beautiful countries in the world and by far the friendliest, safest and most hospitable people in all of humanity! They’ve been able to control the Covid 19 outbreak better than anyone else in the world. In a nation of 95 million, fewer than. 300 people have been infected as of May 17,2020 and still no death. This is incredible ! So successful but still very cautious, Vietnam might be opening up again soon to international tourists. So stay tuned! Thanks !

I did the Hà Giang loop twice last year, And it's hands down my favorite place in Vientam!!! Maybe even Asia! From the incredeble mountain views to the home-stay family dinners to the Hmong Tribe that lives there, Hà Giang is truly a magical place!

Nice Bret! Ha Giang is very beautiful!!! 3 years ago I did a very epic walking trip in Vietnam and walked over 2160 kilometers from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City. 100% walking - took me 3 months and 3 weeks. 😅

Just done the Ha Giang Loop twice during a 50 day road trip in Northern Vietnam. Ended up living by Asia's biggest waterfall at Ban Gioc for free for a month teaching English to kids! Totally awesome experience!

Did a 4day loop a couple of years ago in late August with blazing blue skies. Needless to say it is one of the best trips I've ever done!
I lived in Vietnam for a year while i was writing a script and working on the development of a movie... and eventually I decided to drive my motorcycle across the country... its still to the day one of the coolest thing I've ever done (and I've done a lot of shit). But yes, dont give in to the temptation to stop everywhere... like I did. On my first venture out, I stopped too many times and underestimated the time of driving... and got caught half way up a mountain... in the middle of no-where... at night... in the rain.... with my motorcycle not working. Because I didnt know that once you went so high in elevation (thinner air) you needed to adjust the carborator to allow more air intake.

You can never have too much of this place. I was lucky enough to visit this place 2 years ago and I cant wait to get back there again!

You make me remmember my trip to Ha Giang 3 years ago. It was really stunning, amazing, blow-minding, even I am Vietnamese i was struck by the beauty of Ha Giang. I recommend this place for any foreigners who are going to go to Vietnam.

After my first visit to Ha Giang, I had to come back in the same year. It was certainly too beautiful and soul openning!

I did the Ha Giang loop last August and it was by far the most breathtaking experience I've ever had. This video brought back so many good memories - every place you stopped!
I climbed the same cliff as you did at the end of the video but when it was dry, no mud!!
Also for anyone who's interested in going, you can rent a bike or you can also hire a driver and sit in the back of the bike on the loop!!

5 year ago, Ha Giang have nothing, with no custommer, no traveler, no work to do, ... everyone supper poor. but now more people come back and do the work in Ha Giang, they come back from Bình Dương, Hồ Chí Minh city, Hà Nội .... someone come back from China also.

I am planing travel to Vietnam after this Covid-19 gone (even though i still don't know when it will gone), do you guys know what is the best time for explore Ha Giang Loop?
When ever bro! Cause each season Ha Giang have each surprise for you!
In my opinion.
January: Peach blossom, Plum flower, Yellow flowers reform
September - October: The ripe terraced rice session
November: Flowers triangular circuit
I went to Ha Giang on December - the winter. I think winter is the best time cuz the atmosphere is so cool - a signature beauty will appear more sharply at this time. And one tip is remmember to check the weather, avoid rainny days, the road could be muddy and hard to travel by motorbike.
The problem is Vietnam is not opening for international tourists anytime soon.
We don’t have a lot of Covid 19 cases so we have to be careful.
The best season to come is around December and before Luna New Yea to avoid tropical storms and the heat.
If you’re ok with the heat, come around April, May.
if you don’t mind the rain, and the heat, pick the harvesting season, it’s the best for the Northern part, like October.

Besides the Ha Giang loop, we also have the equally majestic Truong Son trail. Truong Son Trail is a wonderful transportation system created by the Vietnamese army and people to transport soldiers and supplies during the war.
