I've made test ride with RE Classic 350. It really reminds mi my first oldschool 350 from 60's. Feel, power, weight and rider position is very similar. The big difference are brakes which are much better on new Royal Enfield. I really like that bike very much. BR from Poland.
I often ride by the freedom rock in Lewis, Ia. on my way to Baxters. They are a great tribute to our men and women of the armed forces. I hope everyone takes a little time this weekend to reflect on the service and sacrifice of our armed forces personel both past and present !
Love those alloy wheels on the black classic. The only ones I've seen here have the spoked wheels. No matter though because I'm more interested in buying the hunter. But if i was going for a classic, this bike is the one i would want.
I very quickly put 300 miles on my ‘23 halcyon green. It’s a mellow ride, not a hurried experience; ideal if you can wait to get anywhere. Thumping along at 50mph, you see a bit more. Money well spent.
I waited a month for a signals tan bike to come in. They called, said it was in, I showed up and they had this dark stealth black sitting next to it. I think Baxter Cycle knows what I really like. Wahoo!
The mirror issue is interesting Fuzzy! The way I see it...if I need to see how many teeth the individual behind has while their snapping selfies at the light, I will upgrade mirrors. Until then....the mirrors do their job.
Good job mate . Loved the vid. Seem to be rather alot of people who may be younger riders or just like 70 plus cruising writing about the 350s limited power . To me its obviously not a bike for them . But imho there are alot of riders who get the ethos of the 350 Enfield as a relaxed detuned machine for as you say a Zen or Meditative ride where the journey as much if not more than the arrival is the goal. Im sure someone will make a big bore kit and tune the arse off of a J series lump. But it will not be me apart from the DNA air filter which dpes make big difference im doing zero engine mods . Love it as is.
You are correct, it is the journey, the ride, the art that this bike excels at. I simply enjoy riding this beautiful machine. I will not be modding my Classic out at all, don't want to change her wonderful character. Wahoo!

Modern brakes are amazing. People forget how awful our brakes used to be. Wahoo!

This is my favourite colour scheme and version of the classic 350 I think, closely followed by the green Signals model. 👍🏼
