If it's as robust, durable, and versatile as they claim, I'm sure it will sell well, even at their asking price. Not sure of the models, or fish-finder compatibility either. The one video I've seen, they say it cuts through even the worst vegetation like butter, with an enormous amount of torque. Very good to know. I'd buy one today if they were available.

Looks cool. My initial reactions is like everyone else. Damn that's expensive. Will be interesting to see how well it sells.

Looks like an awesome product overall. But I’m curious if there’s a reason behind not having a bounce buster style support? I’m sure a th marine troll tamer could be used which is better anyways but I’m surprised it doesn’t seem to have one from what I’ve noticed so far. Also does it have a way to accept 360 style transducer mounting? I’m not noticing the typical spots to bolt it on

Looks like a good quality unit. IMO, I don't see how this is better than the ghost, especially for $1500+ more.

Nice. What rubber Clamps did you use to secure the active target wire on the shaft?

$5,000 that will be a very small market. Hell I thought back in early 2000's spending $1,000 on a motorguide tour was high.

Power pole is a GREAT !!! Company but I think the trolling motor market is to full I just don’t see it being any better than what’s all ready out their . Maybe I’m wrong I hope they did not waste millions on this . But the lowrance and Garmin and minn Kota are hard to beat . I wish them luck

Power Pole is a great company but sorry there's just no way I would buy one of these. The only positive feature I see is the GPS puck is integrated into the head but everything else is a big negative. The foot pedal is "wireless" but still has to be wired for power and I don't want 3 more button switches screwed into my deck to have to walk around or worry about stepping on accidentally. I don't see much point in the additional LED display as I can get MPH from my graph GPS if I want it and all the major brands have built in indicator lights for things like anchor mode. Also, I don't want to control features through a phone app. It doesn't really do anything my Ghost can't already do for $1500 less. I'm sure some will love it but I'll pass.

I am still running an old cable steer MG. I will be in the market soon. Agree with your point on the 3 extra switches. They must not be worried about 'capturing' competitive customers as you cannot flip the power button to the other side.
And not having anchor mode on the pedal is a non-starter for me.
Sure it's a great product. Nothing about Power Pole would make me believe otherwise.
I will wait for 2.0...unless I have already purchased something else.
So David...how much do you like your ghost?

@@jimk4267 Overall I have been happy with it. Previously, I ran a Fortrex so this is my first real experience with these new GPS enabled TMs. The integration with the HDS units is a plus but if you're running another brand of graph I would think the Ultrex would be an equally good choice.

@@ddub87 Have never been a MK guy.
Not committed to one brand of electronics either. See what they do with the Ultrex. If the only change will be to a brushless motor.
Glad we have so many options.
Sure this Power pole will be a beast.
      Thanks

For as long as I’ve been hearing about this trolling motor, I thought I would be blown away. Everything being separated from the foot pedal is a hindrance to be quite frank. Why would you put your auto pilot on one side? Why would you put your anchor lock on the other side? Makes absolutely no sense to have these features separate from the foot pedal. Very disappointing. And as far as the price goes, get the hell out of here.
