All comments regarding this film as full of "self-hating stereotypes" are spurious. The implication is that such stereotypes do not, or should not, exist; in fact, like all stereotypes, they exist in quantity, across all times and cultures. Watch the entire film, and tell me that you don't know at least one person in your life, straight or gay, who doesn't have one or more of the "stereotypes" that are being railed against. They're PEOPLE. That's the point.
Where can this documentary be found???? Help...I've seen this doc once and LOVED it.
I was looking for it everywhere myself. There are some DVDs for sale on Amazon, but I managed to locate it through my local library to check out. As far as I know, it's not streaming anywhere.

We once had a brief affair with the one who played the hustler. He was very nice and always treated us like a queen! We would even work out together at Gold's Gym in Santa Monica.

This looks interesting. Unfortunately, I hated the movie BOYS IN THE BAND when I saw it as a young gay man and I loathe it just as much today. It's full of the worst stereotypes. If the film negative were burned I would applaud.
