No one EVER references MY favorite lines from the play/movie! Harold to a beat up Emory: "My god! Your lips are turning blue. You look like you've been rimming a snowman." Emory to a confused birthday cowboy: "Then you shouldn't be doing chin ups in heels!!" Still love this play and will direct it one day.

Would love to see this play. I've seen the movie a few times. Unfortunately, most of the actors in the movie have passed on. AIDS epidemic of the 1980s.

Just saw the play, the actors did a phenomenal job I see Tonys in their futures. And they all came out and signed autographs, very sweet cast

No Tony’s for these guys. They opened outside of the Tony nomination deadline. It was done intentionally.

'have seen the 1970 film many times. This is my favourite film. Hopefully the play will come to Hampton Roads and I will be able to catch it. Thank you, Mart Crowley.

Can't wait to see it; am bopping up to the city in about two weeks. What a cast! And as Mae West said in a film, as she "auditioned" some handsome young men to find a "private secretary": "Ok boys, I'm a little tired this evening; ONE of you guys will have to go." :)

Ryan Murphy please remake it this movie. The original movie from 1970 was phenomenal.

I wish I could see this but I definitely will not get to New York to do so, so I would love if HBO and Ryan Murphy would give this The Normal Heart treatment and get this cast to make it into a film.

"Boys in the Band" is a child of its time. In that moment, it was great (enough) Then Pride came. Today, "Boys in the Band" is a historical artifact.

If it weren't for friggin' COVID Matt Crowley might have hung around long enough for me to make him a "Boys in the Band" Nativity scene: Michael as Joseph, the reluctant host; Harold as baby Jesus because he's Jewish and it's his birthday; Emory as Mary for obvious reasons; and you take it from there.
