That looks like a cleaver straight from the kitchens of Khazad dûm at the height of its glory; Durin’s casual gift to his master chef, bearing the inside joke between them that forging food for hungry Dwarves was the same as forging metal - only with sharper hammers on softer anvils and much, much faster by necessity!
What a pretty, pretty piece of steel there Steve! Love your work.

I've watched a man in a wooden shack making his own buckets from wood it cut manually, a man make mud and clay brick accommodation in the middle of the Australian bush, people building a mud hole in the ground house complete with a fresh water swimming pool in some Asian country, a bloke find old historic tools and items and restore them to perfect condition, a guy turn gummy bears and resin into a sword handle, numerous ways to make an oven in survival mode, knife making that puts all my manufactured knives to shame, an Aussie smelting aluminium ladders into ingots while petting his pooches and having a beer... where does the list end.
I'd never have seen any of this had it not been for youtube... how ironic.
