The weight is destroying her ability to walk on her paws and force her to walk on the joint s above them. I have had exactly the same problem with a rescue cat that bloated up to 21 lbs before I noticed (attention on another cat who was having support care.). It has taken three years of a strict diet of a can of wet food divided into three meals a day. She is now at 14 lbs and looks like a cat rather than a stuffie. However the damage to her front legs is done and watching her walk is painful. She is on new arthritis pain medications that make her life much better.

Pobre Geum, no tendria que haber llegado a ese grado de obesidad😡. Ahora no puede moverse porque sus patas no sostienen su peso, y se cansa pronto. No puede acicalarse por ella misma y hasta necesita ayuda para tomar agua. No es gorda porque a su edad no puede hacer ejercicio, sino por su peso, si estuviera mas delgada podria trepar, caminar y saltar como cualquier otro animal.Espero que pueda adelgazar para poder moverse mas.Saludos ❤🤗🇦🇷
