I once ripped the whole rear axle off of my 1:8 scale truck doing a tug of war😢🚗
That was my second favorite event to watch, after the mud bog of course lol. Too bad I spun my driveshaft in the tug of war. Oh well the powerwagon is ready for next time. Awesome vid,there was lots of laughs and excitement in the air... and of course burnt electronics smell. Haha

Oh ya I have some tug of war action in a vid I need to load up, it’s such a cool thing to watch, idk how good it is for the rig buts it’s fun either way, we break them n fix them,it’s a part of the hobby. Great video Aaron was awesome to watch,congrats to the winner!

Medic, some of my buddies got together recently and did a MULTI-TRUCK tug of war! We used 4 trucks, 2 on 2, then 6 with a bar in the middle and each truck had a seperate chain, man was it CHAOS!! I should have filmed it with my VCR tape eating 1984 CAMCORDER, but the quality is = to a toaster!!!

The other day I finally pushed my twelve turn so hard trying to pull 2 cinder blocks not alot of torque on that little guy I got her to smoke smelled great

The trx4 defender did surprisingly well. Probably becuause the rig is so heavy and lots of the weight was on the back tires keeping it planted and getting lots of traction.

Last time I watched the TTC, Media Axial Bomber owned almost everyone in the Tug of War. Not that Traxxas is not doing bad at all.

My problem with tug of war is that it isn't a test of skill or power. Its just whose truck weighs the most and has enough power to hold until the other vehicle spins the tires. At least in full size rigs, the truck that breaks traction first loses, scale trucks are a bit different. But the heavier truck should always win even in scale.
I know everyone had a good time, but man I can't bring myself to do something I know could very well toast a motor or ESC.
