We have decided that THiS YEAR is POKER YEAR! We wanted a poker run where participants of the TTC would collect Poker Cards throughout the day.. and on each event - the cards they earned were publicly displayed for all participants the see. The BEST POKER HAND at the end of 6 events - will win first place!
We have done this, so the folks who are operating on a budget, or who had a love for the TTC could come and WiN, no matter what truck they had. Now, by being a Tough Truck Competition - the truck who wins the most cards - has a GREAT ADVANTAGE at winning Many Cards during the day.
Multiple custom Radio Control trucks are featured in this film. Some of the manufacturers are RC4WD, Axial, GMade, and Tamiya.

Lol, I never knew this hobby was such a big thing....and it's sad how entertaining this is to me
I was thinking if you had really big tread, soft compound with no foam tires and stuck a weight on the bottom of a long and wide truck you would maybe get a traction advantage
I'm usually not a fan of watching these. For some reason. Yours has been very entertaining to watch. You may have changed my mind on these tug of wars.

Why not go off the back cage on some of these? Seems you could benefit from increased rear end pressure to the wheels.

That's an interesting rule, for no Brushless. Is there a reason why? Also, whats to stop someone from using one of those 820 DeWalt motors?
Nothing to stop them from using them - the rules were no brushless, and double brushed were motors allowed. This was so folks could enter with a stock truck IF they chose, though we were looking for nicer "stock" trucks.. making it accessible to all :) Keep in mind, this is a group of friends focused on having fun.. not so much who will beat who.. !

Aaron, how about a 6x6 pull off? I used my RC4WD Beast 2 against my 2 other crawlers and it was incredibly strong! I'd love to see it! Wanting to see ur Beast 2 again

Hey Medic, had another runaway, high speed, very scary. When finally got it back I noticed the receiver Power switch had turned off, I know you get rid of your switches, but can't remember which video you showed us in, I am hoping this will fix it, fingers crossed.

I feel like it would be the higher the chain is mounted the better. That way it would pull the rear of your truck down while lifting the rear of the other truck up.
Nope, actually it causes you to wheelie and flip. Lower the better... traction wise

i see that at a point but i feel like there would be a sweet spot where it would be high enough to gain better traction but low enough not to cause a wheelie.
I agree, i picked a too high a spot for sure though. Next year I'll remember this lol

Wilgner Lima are you trying to get an RC Car? Usually, there are hobby shops where you can find them. If there is no hobby shops at your disposal then online is a good resource. Try searching for them on eBay or on the company sites like Axial or RC4WD. 😁
