- I go through every piece of clothing that I own in order to see if I'm cut out for the 10 item wardrobe... final verdict is for you to decide. I don't think it's horrible... but I don't think it's great either LOL

I have the HARDEST time getting rid of perfectly good clothes that I know I would use if I had nothing else 😂😂😅😅
not going to lie... those jeans came in and out of the donate pile about 4 times after I decluttered, but decided firmly that they aren't 100% amazing, so I must say good bye. I can find better jeans in my future if I want or need more LOL
@Grace Nevitt haha! nothing wrong with that at all!! I have some pieces I know I want to get rid of and just let myself keep them till I can emotionally be ready for that decision. It's such a process but it's so worth it. 😌

Hi Grace. This is not the first time I hear you say that you need to alter or bleach clothes. Does it mean you made no progress on this matter since your last decluttering ? (no judgement, just a question) And if so, do you think it's realistic to say that you will have the time and energy to do it this time ?
Sometimes, we make big plans about what we're gonna do, but the truth is we always find something more interesting to do. So maybe it's time to reflect on if taking care of those clothes is a priority for you or not. And if not, accept that it will never happen, and that you'd better get rid of the clothes.

no this is a great point !! I'm going to schedule these alterations into my content calendar and make a video about it!!! if it doesn't happen in the next month I'm going to call it a loss.

Hi Grace, I came back to rewatch some of you older clothing “decluttering/downsizing” videos (i just love binge watching them 😅) and I’m wondering if you know where the white dress with the flowers that you wanted to alter is from? (The one that ties in the front)

I think you did a pretty good job! I really like the comment here about whether of not you are going to bleach/alter those items. I think a month is a realistic goal and otherwise donate! That might help 🙂
I find that out of my approximate 100 piece wardrobe (I’m retired and scaled down while keeping a couple of items in case I have to dress up) I find I wear the same 10 items over and over.
exactly! I felt like I kept grabbing for the same stuff anyways so this way my wardrobe gets more even wear :)
What’s stopping you from altering the clothes? I think you mentioned they’ve been waiting awhile? How can we (the viewers) encourage you?
executive disfunction keeps me from getting them altered LOL just keep commenting on my videos to remind me 😅 I'm going to try and make it a video in and of itself so I'm more locked into doing it
