21 now and didn't even knew you could cold brew! Sooo good wow! Leaves all those bitter tastes out of my Tea! I just use a little honey + cold brew and close to every "Ice tea" tastes delicious!
They sure do look good! I think I'll coldbrew some green tea overnight with some lemon zest! Usually I would go with strong earl grey hot-brewed (loose leaves) with lemon zest, then adding the juice of 1 lemon, cool over a lot of ice (which smelts and dilute the tea) with sugar to taste. Of course you could argue that Colgate-Palmolive wouldn't want added sugar and acid considering their line of business.
Katie, well done! The cold brew for the green and Earl Grey make all the difference. All three are brilliant, however, we all know the Earl Grey with Orange (aptly nicknamed EGO) is, hands down the winner. Just fantastic. Thank you for the great ideas!
Tried the green tea recipe. I substituted the blueberries with a lemongrass stalk since blueberries are not that easy to get a hold of where I live. It was nice and refreshing and lemony on a hot day (which is basically every day of the year in my part of the world heh)
I tried the red bush one. Had a packet of red bush tea sitting in the cupboard for ages - "might as well use this shizzle up" Said i. Glad i did. Tempted to go out n get some more now. Cheers for the recipe. :)
They all sounds so lovely but the green tea and blueberry is the one I just have to make. Last week I made a lemon verbena raspberry and white tea one and it was a great hit with the sister in law. Again lovely video always great fun to scream Hello through the house and my Kids doing now the same after I showed them your video. such fun. Hubby thinks we are mad but that's nothing new. So thank you for sharing with us.
I love everything about this comment! I am going to try your Iced Tea idea asap. And wohoo for the Hellooooos! I really appreciate your support. Blows my mind!
these tea's look amazing and they're very easy to do, with common ingredients, thank you for giving me a recipe to use the earl gray tea bags i have laying around
I would go for the green tea-lemon-blueberry. I use to make an elderflowers-lemon balm iced tea in the early summer and a rose petal-kiwi iced tea later in the summer when our kiwi tree bears fruit.
I am deeply and madly in-love with earl grey since I took a sip of it from a brewed teacup. Throughout my life i've been finding the perfect iced tea recipe in the internet and I think I just found it! THANK YOU KATIE!!! for making this amazing video and I will definitely try this out with friends and family one day! I might even consider making this throughout my entire life! Much love from the Philippines!
This comment is absolutely brilliant and blows my heart and mind! Thank you for watching, Lenard and much love to the Philippines! I appreciate your kindness, no end.
Bravo Katie! Wonderful ... all of them but my personal favorite was "Green Tea with Lemon Zest". I liked the taste, quenching, as it was. Summer are always dryer here so I go with drinks that kick-in some taste buds.
today's i made a twist on green tea ver. from this recipe i swap lemon to orange zest + mint + since i can't find Earl Grey here, i change it to green tea leaves and it's sooooo delicious thanks for making such inspiration about this i've been boring drink a normal tea ahahahaha (even my mom love it)
Don't usually like the bitterness from the teas, but I guess I'll try the cold-brewed versions, to see if they're better. All of these look great for a refreshing drink.
Awesome :D I've experienced quite bitter home made ice teas before, so i guess this is the trick to make it good without adding tons of sugar :D Will try it!
Hey Radh - you could try letting it brew for less time, the longer you brew green tea the more bitter it gets. You could also try a tiny drop of honey.
Not sure which to try, I feel like I'd prefer the sweetest one but I've never tried red bush tea... Hmmm, what do you think of lemon tea and fresh peaches? (Probably would need to chop right?)
These sound lush and so refreshing, but even with the fruit, they must be quite bitter? I like sweet tea or iced tea. Could I put in honey or sugar? And if I do, would you do that in the beginning, or just add when you serve?
Well, when you cold brew you eliminate the bitter taste. However, if you have a sweet tooth, I would add a teaspoon of honey during the cold brew stage and be sure to crush the fruit to release it's natural sweetness too! Hope that helps :D
We are a fan of chamomile tea as an evening refresher... I never tried making that as iced tea on a hot night... if it can, any ideas for iced chamomile tea? (and if not iced, any other combos that can work hot other than just plain with honey?)
Well, I am no expert BUT I read studies that indicate that steeping tea for at least 12 hours has better extraction abilities than hot water brewing. Meaning you can end up with the same if not more antioxidants. Worth a google, I say!
+Syed Abdul Rehman Bukhari my mom just bought berries from Dubai well its nice but I tried to make this tea only for myself I put two teabags in a big mug it didn't turned out that great
aw this video makes me so happy. she's so full of life
This comment has made me smile no end.
Katie Pix i'm glad! you're wonderful :)
We love our Katie!
I'm going to listen to some death metal now for balance.
21 now and didn't even knew you could cold brew! Sooo good wow! Leaves all those bitter tastes out of my Tea! I just use a little honey + cold brew and close to every "Ice tea" tastes delicious!
I didnt know you could actually cold-brew tea... i need To try this
It's really good!
Red bush tea is the best. I brew with hot water but drink it cold over ice.
So delicious!
Never have I seen somebody this excited and giddy for iced tea, aww awesome
Wait until you've tasted it... then it'll make sense! (I'm still too excited, I know) ;)

+Katie Pix I will!

YAYAYAY! Awww, I LOVE this comment. Thank you!
Those look amazing! Cold-brewed tea is definitely something that more people should talk about!!
Absolutely! It's often only thought of for coffee, but I love the effect on tea!
They all sounds so lovely but the green tea and blueberry is the one I just have to make. Last week I made a lemon verbena raspberry and white tea one and it was a great hit with the sister in law.

+Katie Pix how would you suggest I use saffron tea to make a refresher?
Or is it coming up in a future video? that'd be so nice!
Can't wait to try the Orange & Mint one. Tried the Razzberry Smoothie last week and the kids absolutely loved it!!!!!!!
Yayayay! Brilliant! :D
I would go for the green tea-lemon-blueberry. I use to make an elderflowers-lemon balm iced tea in the early summer and a rose petal-kiwi iced tea later in the summer when our kiwi tree bears fruit.
WOW. Those sound absolutely delicious! I'm going to have to give that a try! What tea do you brew them with?
Katie Pix
Dear Katie, i usually use green tea. It supports the delicate flavor of the flower leafs very well.
Warmest regards :)

Tea with the lemon look so good
Love, love, love your kitchen and of course you are full of life ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Bravo Katie! Wonderful ... all of them but my personal favorite was "Green Tea with Lemon Zest". I liked the taste, quenching, as it was. Summer are always dryer here so I go with drinks that kick-in some taste buds.
You can also brew the orange one with vodka instead of water, so that besides the mint, your liver gets bruised too :)
Add some vodka and you'll have some great adult beverages
It is the weekend after all :D
If you're a fan of a sweeter tea, mix in a bit of wild turkey american honey, it goes perfectly with tea.
Iced tea is a good adult beverage. Not only adult, but kids, elders, basically all ages.
And from out of nowhere, bachata! Love it :)
Yay! Thank Emil!
i knooow
today's i made a twist on green tea ver. from this recipe

Katie Pix (A-Team) You don't know that series? 😱
I will try making the second one. I made your salsa dip the other day and it was a hit! Please do more such dips. Thanks
Amazing, Sonia! Thank you so much! I shall indeed.
Rooibus or Earl Grey would be perfect for me! I'll add something extra to "enhance" it ;-)
Don't usually like the bitterness from the teas, but I guess I'll try the cold-brewed versions, to see if they're better. All of these look great for a refreshing drink.

YES MARK. Thank you so so much!
Never tried cold-brewing tea before. Looks really good. I will give it a try!
YAY! Do it, it's blooming lovely. :D Thank you so much for watching.
I like the red bush. 😉
Try brewing with loose leaf tea. It has more taste and less bitterness since you're not brewing with near-powdered tea leaves.
Cold brewed tea and whiskey over the summer is my life @.@
That cheeky A-Team quote...
I've never cold brewed tea, need to try this tomorrow!
:D Let me know how they turn out and which is your favourite flavour!

**blushing**
I loved them all!
For the green tea drink, is there a way to make it a little sweeter but without adding sugar to it? Anything that keeps it healthy
Hey Radh - you could try letting it brew for less time, the longer you brew green tea the more bitter it gets. You could also try a tiny drop of honey.
Jamie Oliver TY SO MUCH AND HIII
I really love Katie. Its sooo delicious
I'm a iced tea maniac and this looks soooooo goooood. :D The lady is also lovely. :)
This comment made me smile from ear to ear! Hope you can enjoy some this weekend :D
Hola, when you say tea bags, what kind of tea are you using for each drink?
all three are my favorite.
Not sure which to try, I feel like I'd prefer the sweetest one but I've never tried red bush tea... Hmmm, what do you think of lemon tea and fresh peaches? (Probably would need to chop right?)
Fascinating baby!
I love them all
These things sure are gorgeously
The colours are incredible and you can play around with the tea and fruit combinations too!
Hellooo, lovely Katie,
I really enjoy your videos. ♥

It does help, cheers!! :)
They look great!!! what kind of tea did you used in all? Green tea?
What can i use instead of blueberries for the green tea recipe. Berries aren't available, where I'm from! 😔😔
We are a fan of chamomile tea as an evening refresher... I never tried making that as iced tea on a hot night... if it can, any ideas for iced chamomile tea? (and if not iced, any other combos that can work hot other than just plain with honey?)
Question: if you cold brew green tea do you still reap the benefits / antioxidants etc. from the tea?

Gonna give the earl grey a try later :))))) after days of convincing my mom to get some tea from the grocery HAHAHA
Earl Grey any day !
making this for sure ! we don't get blueberry and raspberry here 😞
We can think up some other ideas for you! What's your favourite/available fruit?
+Katie Pix grapes would be nice in replacement of berries
Grapes won't go that well with any tea, I assume.
+Syed Abdul Rehman Bukhari my mom just bought berries from Dubai well its nice but I tried to make this tea only for myself I put two teabags in a big mug it didn't turned out that great
I'm trying this right now
And..... :S
And it tasted like lemon water, no tea taste, no idea why, the smell was there tho.
You're so cute... My sister hate team but I'm sure my sissy will say YES to tea when she watch this video.
Has anyone done this with loose leaf tea? If so, any recommendations on how much tea i should use, quantity-wise?
I should try this.
Yes, yes you should!
it's really late but i love how u use reusable straw
Good job
What no suger?? The Americans would never except this!
You seem so damn lovely! Loved the tea's, will definitely give them a try!
Thank you so much for your kindess :D
+Katie Pix You are really like my future wife, hopefully. That accent and energy is just amazing!
