Literally she and her husband stood watching for a good hour! If I catch fish like that when they’re watching they can come every trip 🤣

belting vid, some lovely grayling there! very skilfully put together, although the "black bit" had me a bit confused! water to die for, but I suspect the wye is a little beyond my meagre pockets! I never got around to filming a "winter grayling on fly myself" after wasting too much time chasing pike on fly!! managed a trotting one in the Yorkshire dales but never got around to using the fly! just subbed, good luck with the channel man!

@@aphfishing I watch a range of stuff, bait, fly, river, stillwater, sea etc but often for reference purposes, watch much more utube than telly, also takes up much time editing!! 😊

Great video, nice filming, really enjoyed watching you guys catching some nice Grayling, loved the conversation with the lady. Tempted to try a wild stretch of the Kennet walking distance from me. Thanks for sharing. Tight lines

The Peacock Hotel water on the Wye has been ruined by anglers like these. Firstly there are too many guides taking prime beats for paid clients to the detriment of club members. This in turn has attracted anglers like these two who have a specimen hunters mentality using terms like “PB” and “Rig” and film themselves with the sole purpose of self promotion. As was the case with Czech Nymphing, Euro nymphing made overnight experts of very mediocre fishermen who are trying to re-invent the wheel churning out videos like this. Not with any instructional input but to show the viewer how many fish they can catch.
