That shot thru that metal way better than I thought it could. Like most people, I liked at that little machine and laughed. Oops, my bad. That is a perfect DIY plasma cutter. Nice video. Thanks for sharing it
@@johnholmes6897 I've been using it in my shop since I posted that video. It works every time with no issues. When it dies . I will buy another one for sure. The trick is keeping the tips clean. I switched out the handle to a slightly better one off Amazon that has cheaper tips.
I'd love to see if it'll go through a 1inch piece of plate steel. I don't have anything here but I'm definitely going to try it out one day. I bought it to do light sheet metal work and framework. It works way better than the one from Eastwood
10 years ago something like this was crazy money. It's nice that they're affordable now. Good cut off wheels are so expensive. This thing will pay for itself in no time
I had a a plasma cutter from eastwood before this one. I smoked that one because I didn't replace the tip often enough. I have been using this one regularly for a couple months. . I keep replacing the tips after ever couple uses. No issues so far. I did notice if it's not grounded perfectly. It will not work right.

Yeah Man that works pretty good. I can see that being very handy in corners and tight spots.
