Are you able to connect the desk phone and laptop both to headset at same time? I thought from their description it was one or the other since there is only one USB connection on WH66 (or so I thought).
YES, it takes some finagling, depending on if you want the headset to be bluetooth or direct connect to the phone or not, but as we speak I have the WH66 and the T58WPro connected simultaneously to my laptop and to the phone, etc. I do meetings on my laptop as well as watch RUclips and/or listen to music and can answer and make phone calls all with the headset still on. I will say one annoying thing, but I get why it does it is, if a phone call comes in, if you are using the laptop and watching something or in a meeting, the phone call supersedes ANYTHING anything you are doing and automatically mutes any activity (in and out) on the laptop so that you can answer the call. If you simply ignore or hang up the call, your sound input/output instantly automatically goes back to your laptop. So now that I think about it, it annoys me sometimes if Im in a video meeting and get muted from a phone call, BUT I get why the phone call needs to take priority. Either way it's a great setup once you get it all setup and tested. I hope that helps. 😊
@@RichTechnologyGroup If you want both (PC and deskphone) connected via USB is that how you have it? Do you have it running through a USB hub before going into the WH66? Couldn't quite tell what you had wired.
I would say it should technically work with any of the hosted VOIP providers that support provisioning Yealink. Technically, that phone is NOT on Vonage's "compatible phones list" but we were able to provision it with their standard Yealink provisioning in less than 5mins and I've had NO issues with it and use it as my daily IP phone. That being said, while I can't guarantee this, it SHOULD WORK with any provider that supports Yealink. That would be the providers you mentioned above, as well as some others like Ooma, OnSIP and many more.
Which of the items on my desk did you find most interesting? 😀
The Poly p5 webcam and
Whatever you use to keep that shiny black desk from not showing fingerprints.
Really informative video Prince! What a great set up you have. Next time I’m in Costa Rica I am totally dropping by. Miss you buddy.
Thanks Peter. I'm glad you liked the video. Stop on by! Door is always open for you my friend! 😀

Yealink T58W Pro what besides Vonage does it work with? Ring Central, Nextiva, 8X8, etc...?
