Question, I inherited one of these phones and I'm thinking of signing up for a basic service to make calls can you recommend the cheapest and best service providers to setup a line? Also will the phone need to be reprogrammed or will it just plug in and work with a new service line?
Hi GiggidyGiggidy, hit me up here on our contact us page so we can talk offline and I'll tell you who I think works best with that phone: www.richtechnologygroup.com/contact-us.html PS. I'm a HUGE Family Guy fan. My wife and I both. We are still made they took Family Guy and American Dad off Netflix haha. That was some of the best TV back in the day. They just don't make them like that anymore. 😭
The dongle you require to make VVX series IP phones bluetooth capable you can find here. I suggest going with the POLY brand model but other's have been known to work in the list: www.amazon.com/s?k=bluetooth+dongle+for+poly+vvx+450&crid=2W9JS5WVU8L1O&sprefix=bluetooth+dongle+for+poly+vvx+450%2Caps%2C197&linkCode=sl2&tag=princeedwardr-20&linkId=9497946de9bf6f55f0bfdcc2dbfbd853&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl
Yes it could be used with a landline, however you're going to need an FXO ATA Gateway to do it. If you're asking this question I would get a voip or telephone tech to help you, or easier yet forget about using a land line and get yourself a voip line, you can even port your spectrum phone number to it.
Thanks for watching! Tell me in the comments what you guys think about this phone. 😎
Helpful video! Our MSP has seen strong results using these Poly models alongside Thirdlane Multi Tenant PBX, creating an effective setup.
Can this phone register to MS teams for basic call functionality and multline support?
