Tucker Carlson breaks silence on Fox firing, targets US media and political system

- Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson made his first on-camera appearance Wednesday since his abrupt firing from the network this week, releasing a taped statement in which he criticized the state of political discourse on U.S. television.
In it, he says there has not been a "legitimate debate" about issues including war, civil liberties, natural resources or emerging science for a "long time."
"Both political parties and their donors have reached consensus on what benefits them and they actively collude to shut down any conversation about it," he said.
Carlson, however, did not address his departure from Fox, which came less than a week after parent company Fox Corp settled a $787.5 million defamation lawsuit by Dominion.

Carlson was true to himself and his beliefs, and still is. Even lost his job because of it. He was a critic of traditional values because of the last man, who blindly follows what others tell him. And Nietzsche didn’t “hate” anything or anyone. He wanted to tear down the old belief system because it would come crumbling down in “the next 2 centuries”, and desperately looked for an answer to the agony of nihilism, which is involved in both asserting the existence of God and also refusing it, that being his most persistent paradox. We are given opinion news, not actual news and facts. As much as I disagree with Tucker Carlson on a wide range of topics, I do listen, as I listen to some mainstream media and independent sources. By informing myself in a healthy way even though, I cringe at the selling of fear, the propaganda, I have take a objective impartial stance for my own mental health and analysis, we have no choice now. The powers that be think people are stupid, in my experience I find shoving the truth down people's throats immediately, the very uncomfortable truths dont sit well with people, I do have faith, since Covid, government, foreign policy the truth usually takes 5 to 10 yrs to come to light on average to the public. You cannot force the majority, the truth will eventually come into the light.

He started to actually report the news, he did give his opinions and bias and was very bigoted in many subjects, BUT, thats for the people to decide, and has been pointed out many times by independent media sources about his bigotry. for example like speakers at a university, to boycott with violence, disrupt, ban, because of a particular ideology is wrong, let the students listen, then decide and use their intellect and learn critical thinking skills that seem to lack which is many times only met with hate, its crucial to listen to very uncomfortable thought and rhetoric but very important for them to learn from it and form their own with access to all views and facts.

And as much as things have already changed the media and information landscape, it’s only the beginning. There will be good and there will be bad developments in this new world. But many industries are at a point of extinction or change. Deeper the pockets, the longer you can expect the play to be. Good journalism more important than ever, and I don’t mean that In the trivial “this is the most important election of your life” type of thing; the scrutiny needs to be there. The way economies run and the industries we’ve known for generations is quite active right now.
