- AHOY and welcome aboard! In this episode, we move aboard SeaSHINE, our 56-foot Ocean Alexander motor yacht. We had hoped to have the renovations completed before we moved in but that did not happen so unfortunatly we are moving into a floating construction zone. We only have one week to do the makeover/refit before we start the Great American Loop. We have some challenges while we attempt to install new carpet, new marble countertops, new fixtures, and many other little pre-departure projects. Will we finish in time? Yes! Better late than never! We decided to enjoy the trip rather than sit on board and edit the whole time. Then we got back on land and life happened! We create these videos for our family memories and anyone else who wants to enjoy. ⚓️Mark

Just for context, this trip was about a year ago is that correct?
This was actually spring 2022. We finished our loop in June 2023.
I can understand that, it gives you more time to experience the moment and then go back and share your experience with others. Cheers Seashine!
We quickly figured out there was no way to do the Loop, enjoy the Loop, teach homeschool and edit. Editing had to wait. But now we are back in the game and in it to win it! LOL. Thanks for watching!
