Love those clear color-tone heads they just look cool..the blue would look great on my Ludwig clear blue Vistalite drums but as for a snare batter head the only downside for me is probable lack of good brush response due to lack of coating to give that 'swish' sound. Snare drum sounds great in the video.
Hello bud Is this the Pearl sensitone custom? (That you’d normally find with the vision series..) I have the same snare, but struggled to find the right head for it? (Clear CS dot seems to be the best at the moment..) I will definitely try one of these now though 👍 Thank you for the video
@@raddrummer101 thank you very much. How much would you recommend this snare for rock and funk drumming? And could you be so kind to point out any other videos where you play this snare, if there are any? Thanks in advance.
finally someone who knows how to tune a snare
It's easy to tune all drums
@@Romans219 but a snare drum is a whole different method of tuning dawg
@@Joshstix95 not really xD people just make it feel like its rocket science, For any snare to sound good all you have to do i tight that shit up :)
@@ricardocardoso5214 i usually crank the bottom head and then the top head is free game lmao
@@gavin_bigred true xD the bottom has to be table top tight and the top defines the tone of the drum
Love that sound! Fat with short decay and a good impact but not completely dead.
how could you hear decay, he never stopped playing?
this is why I love remo drum heads

Beautiful piccolo snare
Excuse me, I'm a new drummer and I want to know, What drumhead did you use on the other side from the snare?
I used a Remo Ambassador Hazy Snare side those are the best
I have that same head on my pdp Chad Smith snare. Tuned high and poppin.
do you tighten the bottom head up to ? to get this sound ?
@@quanwitdavidz Yes I do.
Send it this way!
Love the sound! What snare wires are you using?
Is it resistant?
The p77 and definitely the coated cs are my go to for snare batter heads
Sounds great. What snare side thickness do you use

Holy shit I think you just convinced me to buy a Pearl Sensitone Steel Snare Drum. This a 14x5 or a 5,5?
It’s a 14x5.5

Update: I bought this snare and I'm very happy with it so far
Great for soloing , but nothing beats better than an Evans genera hd dry.
crispier than fried chicken
Qual a diferença da Colortone Emperor para a Colortone Powerstroke?
That sound is hot
What snare drum is that?
Different sound to a coated head.
I’ve tried both on my PEARL STEEL SENSITONE…
hey,thats my snare!
Don't think i could hit it.. looks soo beautiful..😭😂
Ripping.
Que som lindo de caixa
You shouldn’t buy a snare just because one video makes it sound good.
You should only buy the snare if every video sells you on it.
