Your tutorials (part 1 and 2) were BRILLIANT!!! Exactly what I needed after spending hours watching other learning platforms. Follow Up Question: Can you insert a hyperlink into a drawing's text box? Thank you!
Always on the look our for good training and this training is most helpful, detailed and the CC is a plus for some of my co-workers who may have hearing challenges. I have shared the link with my work family. Great for a quick refresh!!!!
thank you LearnIt ! Great tutorial as always ! I was wondering if you knew a way to link words in Google Docs. By that I mean, when the variable/block of text is changed, where ever it appears in the doc changes automatically. I tried to look for add-ons, but couldn't find any solution that actually worked. Thank you !!
@@LearnitTraining Your videos are great and easy to follow. I especially appreciate the exercise files that come with each video. Very helpful. Awesome channel!
I would like to know: 1- how to crate new level os titles (google docs offer just 6) 2- how to make the numbers of tht figures and tables automaticaly. thank you
Some great tips in here and ways to help make it for easier for people to work on the same thing withough having to send documents backwards and forwards when working in the comments
Yo, nice video formatting and good video in general. Was looking specifically how to create my table of contents and it seems something was forgotten, nothing gets added to the left hand side by default. So idk how this is supposed to work. Am I supposed to create the information on the page into the content it can later refer back to?? How would you do that. On a side note, I was watching on 1.75 speed and forgot about it, when I later saw you type something I was blown away at your typing speed, until I remembered the 1.75. Got a good chuckle.
I didn't read the comments, but surely someone should have noticed in a year that the initial description is for the Google Sheets tutorial? Watch your copy/paste!!
Yes, you can create an index at the end of a book in Google Docs. Here are the steps: Open your document in Google Docs. Click where you want to place the index. In most cases, you’ll want to place your index at the end of the document-just scroll down and click the first empty line below your existing content 1. Click on the “Insert” menu and select “Table of contents” 2. Select “Custom table of contents” 3. In the “Options” section, check the box next to “Page numbers” 3. Click “OK” to insert the table of contents into your document 3.
To open a Google Doc and have it take you back to where you left off on the doc, you can use the “Outline” feature in Google Docs. The Outline feature allows you to quickly navigate through your document and jump to different sections. To use the Outline feature: Open your Google Doc. Click on the “View” menu. Click on “Show document outline”. The Outline panel will appear on the left side of your screen. Click on any heading in the Outline panel to jump to that section of your document. This should take you back to where you left off on the doc. I hope this helps!
