In other words, i have a list of screening questions that I want to simply insert into the doc whenever I have a new interview (similarly to how you would import a meeting date and name using Building Blocks in one click). Jeff's videos always impress me! Jeff, may I know if there's a feature - to get a wording located/referred to one of the slides, in the same Google Doc? E.g. I text a word 'shoes' in page 20, and I want to click the word to let me refer to page 3 (i.e. description) for my reference. **Context** I'm a heavy user of Google Drive and this new feature is damn useful, close to Notion, and most importantly - syncs up all info within Google Suite! The learning curve of Notion is too long for me to migrate my lengthy language notes from Google Doc! Hopefully Google can keep optimising Google Suite further! Hi Daniel! Thanks so much for the comment and question! For central repository documents, I would argue they change based on the objective of that document. For example a onboarding document for new hires would have Format A, whereas a Master Project Tracker would have Format B. I know this doesn't answer your question (😅) but I find it helpful to see what I want to achieve with that document first!
@@JeffSu This is true. I tend to make NAMEOFPROJECT log documents with links to other docs and TOC with the headers. I just need to learn to have more style. BTW, enjoy cracking your neck as you do at the beginning of the video while you are young. That source of relief goes away after 45.
Great info. Are elements of tables being incorporated into docs and sheets as it's been in beta for ages now? Is tables still in development or put on the backburner. Would be great to have an update.
At this point, for drive, - They should combine drive and keep. Or make keep a file type. - If people storing image in keep file, they should be able to add text under or above each image. Keep should be more like lite version of doc file w/ some more functionality like "bold text." - remove the task app. - remove "task" and "reminder" in the calendar. Just have an "event". - Bring cards system in doc. Can be used as a "catcher" and also for "long notes". - They should remove the ugly file icons they have in drive. - plus have different drive color themes and dark mode.
But I seem to have a problem where when I search up the file I wanted to use in the smart chip update, I coouldn't find it, I've been trying for months now, but except when I click on the files that I don't want to and then I use the @ to search for more files I saw that there are new files coming in. I thought that was a solution, until it took to long to get to the file I wanted. Do you have any solutions you could share with me?

Hi, Jeff! For some reason my @-menu is way too shorter than yours. Everything I have is People, Smart chips, Elemets, Files and Calendar. No Lists, Charts, Headings, Page number etc. How can I expand my suggestion list?
@@JeffSu Yes, if I type for example @list then I get list suggestions, so all the functions exist but they are hidden until I start typing some specific option

Can somebody say how to connect certain calendar to google docs? Menu @ gives no options but standart calendar. If your have 2 or more calendars in google, Docs just doesnt want to see them. Why??
