I like how this channel actually gets the watches to review. Not just review based on photos and vids. Good job. Want to see you grow. One tip tho: your mic seems slightly off?
The new bb red looks so much smaller than the old. The subtle lug width change and having the dial closer to the crystal makes such a big visual difference
Nice review! Wow, the differences are salient. It looks huge on your wrist, but obviously that has more to do with wrist size than the actual size. I'm looking forward to trying one on.
Interesting comparison between the new BB and sub. Regarding lug width on the new BB, did they slim that down too? When you compare the old and new, the new looks thinner.
Love that red bezel. That watch is very good value if you're after a dive watch compared to other brands offering in regards to quality and price, other thing people never say anything about Rolexs lines of text, just a thought I have no problem with that. Another excellent comparison KC
Excellent video comparison. Thanks. I was wondering whether the red bezel on the Tudor was aluminium or ceramic? I’m guessing it’s the former? Would love to see you review on the BB55
Alexander from “WatchAdviser” reported that bracelet width was 21x16mm. So that would be the same as the 41mm sub. It looks thinner in your comparison with the older version. Overall it looked smaller that the old version! I love it!!! It will be perfect for my 8” wrist.
@@KCTimeShare if it has a lug width of 21mm and thinner bracelet of 21x16mm and over all wears small than the original……. Then yes I would add it to my collection despite the fact that I already have the original BB with eta and with in-house movt.
According to Brent Miller Time the new model is smaller in every dimension: 40.7mm case 13.7mm thick 49.2mm lug to lug 21mm lug width It is a pity that you missed the move to the smaller size because this is huge news. Otherwise thanks for the video.
Thanks for sharing this useful info! Because I didn’t have my tool with me to measure the BB out, I had to leave the measurements out. It is great that you can clarify this point 🙏🏼
The dial of the new BB seems blacker & as such, the contrasts between the dial, hands & indices seem more pronounced which helps legibility. Add a thinner case profile, the new BB is definitely a big improvement over the old.
I just wonder if after a couple of years the secondery market value of the BB will crash like other tudor models. the sub will hold its value for sure. its a timeless design but maybe worth waiting
Q: WHY use an aluminum bezel insert, when they could have made it out of a better quality ceramic? Especially, the burgundy red is such a stand-out feature of this watch. Thanks
You can clearly see that the new one is not actually 41mm across the bezel (it’s 40mm if you measure it). Also that the lug width is now 21mm and no longer 22mm (Why does nobody notice or care about Tudors fantastic move to 21mm lug widths on so many models?). Don’t worry, Tudor do not always notice or know about such things either 😂
And then there are lots of other details that separate the Tudor from the Rolex. - Yes the new BB41 is much improved over the previous generation. I notice the watches you viewed were not all wrapped in plastic as they now seem to do more and more everywhere. You can’t really interact with a watch then. They just have to live with the expense of an display model. I wouldn’t buy an ex display for full price, no matter how much plastic they wrap it in.
There are some Tudor display pieces for people to try on but when you do decide to buy one, there are often watches at the back (in the safe) which are brand new ready for you to take home with. I hope this helps!
It's just an inferior old Rolex homage. If you get a Tudor deep inside you know you it's a rolex homage with an inferior movement and inferior steel. Rolex screwed you 😂
@@Mega-zi7ys no I’m not bud…I find Rolex’s over built and not that good looking or warranting their costs whatsoever. I prefer the Tudor Rangers look to anything Rolex is putting out at the moment honestly….And as for denial. No. It’s called preference and having your own style.

The new dimensions are great. Lets hope they introduce new color options soon.
I'm sure there will be new colours coming out eventually. It would be awesome if the Green Harrods BB can get the same upgrade!

One tip tho: your mic seems slightly off?
Many thanks for your kind words, Luke! I do plan to get a new mic soon, hopefully the quality can improve then!
thanks you KC for showing us the new black bay red, i am still waiting the call from HK AD.
Thanks Michael, I hope you will get your call very soon!
The new bb red looks so much smaller than the old. The subtle lug width change and having the dial closer to the crystal makes such a big visual difference
Yes it does, doesn’t it?! I think the new BB is a huge upgrade vs the previous model!
it looks smaller because it is smaller!

Thank you!
Cant wait to see the 54 review
Thanks Austin! I'm working on it 🫡
Great video KC . Great comparison and really informative. I think my husband and i are overdue a visit to our tudor A.D. 😂😂
Not sure if your wallet would like it 😂
Amazing video with all these comparisons!!!
Thanks Scott!
3:04 Wow! To think that both the new & old BBs are quoted as 41mm? The old one looks so much bigger in diameter!
Yes, it is crazy how both are 41mm!
@@KCTimeShare would you say the new one wears more like the BB58 (39mm) as opposed to the GMT at 41mm?
I would say it wears more like a Rolex Submariner if you ask me 😅
Very well done video!❤
Thanks so much Randy!
Smaller crown and no extended crown tube, together with 1 thinner and curved sides. This is perfect
“Tudor, take my money!”
Great comparison
Thanks Frank!
Interesting comparison between the new BB and sub. Regarding lug width on the new BB, did they slim that down too? When you compare the old and new, the new looks thinner.
It is hard to tell as I didn't have my measuring tool with me. I would want to know the answer for my own reference as well 🙃
I believe lug width on the new BB Burgundy is 21mm, down from 22mm.
Bb58 925 and a few others have METAS
I don't believe the 925 has the METAS certification.
I have to say that NKUWAN 's watches is amazing!
Love that red bezel. That watch is very good value if you're after a dive watch compared to other brands offering in regards to quality and price, other thing people never say anything about Rolexs lines of text, just a thought I have no problem with that. Another excellent comparison KC
Thanks for your support and kind words Marlon 🙌🏻
The dial face on the newer Burgundy looks smaller for sure than the older version, even though they are both 41mm
It does look smaller, doesn't it! I feel like our eyes are playing tricks on us!
Excellent video comparison. Thanks. I was wondering whether the red bezel on the Tudor was aluminium or ceramic? I’m guessing it’s the former? Would love to see you review on the BB55
Thanks for the kind feedback. It is aluminium indeed!

Do you love it enough to add it to your collection? That’s the question I supposed 😬

Hi KC. I’m sure that 54 will be a hit with you!
I'm happy to report that I have no interest in the BB54 🙃 Too similar to my BB58 😅
According to Brent Miller Time the new model is smaller in every dimension:
40.7mm case
13.7mm thick
49.2mm lug to lug
21mm lug width

Oh man I really want this bb red. They told me it would be a while here.
It is a solid watch indeed!
I've seen the new BB model in a shop. I also thought it is quite similar to a new submariner. I am waiting for 5 links band model.
Good that you checked it out in person! I hope you will get your call real soon!
like the comparison
Thanks Ale!
The dial of the new BB seems blacker & as such, the contrasts between the dial, hands & indices seem more pronounced which helps legibility. Add a thinner case profile, the new BB is definitely a big improvement over the old.
Oh totally! I would choose the new BB over the previous generation everyday!
Do you think I should buy the old black bay 41 heritage in black or wait until they come out with the new Black Bay Heritage in black?
I would wait if I were you. The updated version is so much better in my opinion 👌🏼
Thank you!
Hi, hope all is great! How old is your Sub and has you ever service it?
My sub is 5 years old and no, haven’t sent it in for a service yet 🙌🏼
I just wonder if after a couple of years the secondery market value of the BB will crash like other tudor models. the sub will hold its value for sure. its a timeless design but maybe worth waiting
I have no doubt that the BB will NOT hold its value, I think it will depreciate like the rest of the Tudor offerings 🙃
Where is the ceramic bezel? Aluminium bezel insert is history.
Will have to go to the Tudor Pelagos range for the ceramic bezel 🫣
Q: WHY use an aluminum bezel insert, when they could have made it out of a better quality ceramic? Especially, the burgundy red is such a stand-out feature of this watch. Thanks
It depends on who you ask. Some may say it is for the vintage style. Another person may say it is a way to keep the cost down. 🙃
this watch checks off all of my wish boxes except maybe a bezel color. Will wait until price craze drops a bit
I'm fairly certain that Tudor will release new bezel colours in the future so you should be fine 🫡
какой у вас размер запястья?
примерно 6 дюймов
Tudor is COSC as well
The new BB red went one step further, it is METAS certified as well 💪🏼
Love these watches although the quality steel is still different (The sub still looks shinier). Looking forward to owning a BB54 😊
I hope you will be able to get your BB54 soon!
Is the sub still the best?
A Sub is always gonna be a Sub 😎

I’m not sure how losing 2 seconds a day is going to make you late for a meeting but I guess that’s marketing. 😂😂😂
You lose a minute after 30 days 🙃
@@KCTimeShare So 50 years ago, people must have been late for meetings all the time?! 🙃
People would not know they are “late” because there is no accurate time telling ability 🤣
Beautiful watch but way too big for your wrist
🥲
The rivets on the bracelet need to go.
I second that!
It's just an inferior old Rolex homage. If you get a Tudor deep inside you know you it's a rolex homage with an inferior movement and inferior steel.
